What does McCain have to do with anything? Anyone is free to say they endorse what a group of people are doing but I can assure you, nobody from the TEA Party Express was looking to John McCain for advice.

What began as a tax protest quickly turned into demanding that Congress actually read the bills they were signing and did the job they were elected to do.
That includes following the Constitution and about 1,000 other things.

We didn't go around screeching "End the Fed".... "No more Wars" .... Constitution Constitution Constitution". There was a much broader plan and it had a lot to do with removing those from office who weren't doing their JOB'.

We didn't just talk.... we accomplished a lot.

We put more people in their place and they became what we hated. We had Tea Party candidates vote for the debt limit increase, the reathorization of The Patriot Act, and voted for the indefinite detention of US citizens under NDAA, they also voted for SOPA, PIPA, and CISPA, which gives unwarranted power to the executive branch to kill the internet at their discretion... so how are they doing their 'JOB'?

THE TEA PARTY is not McCain or any one individual! If some TEA PARTY group supported him, it was because the alternative was obscene!
One group does not the TEA PARTY make! It was planned that way!

Who gets to decide who the "tea party" endorses? Did you get to vote on wether or not to endorse them, or did you just fall in line because they were "tea party" approved?

"TEA PARTY CANDIDATE" is a liberal press label! That's their issue, not ours.

No one declares a TEA PARTY candidate! We know which candidates deserve support without labeling them!!

You don't get it...we are not clones or robots who march in lockstep!
Tea Party members and supporters know who is an acceptable candidate, because we do our individual homework! We have no leader making our choices for us!

If a particular TEA PARTY agrees to support a candidate, they support the candidate of their choice..more power to them, join them or don't!

No one falls in line..we make the best choice that fits our own objectives of less government and more individual responsibility!

I choose the candidate of my choice after evaluating their positions.

I am a puppet of no one! I make my own choices...
Why is that concept so foreign to you?

I don't know if any TEA PARTY group would consider supporting a 3rd party candidate as viable, since no 3rd party candidate has ever won a presidential election! I am not a fortune teller and speak only for myself as do all TEA PARTY members!

The TEA PARTY is NOT a political party...it is a grass roots movement of like minded citizens...nothing more, nothing less!

THE TEA PARY is the TEA PARTY! Stop trying to make it fit your mold!

The TP is many independent groups of grass roots patriots who are working to take our country back, believe in the government that governs the least governs the best, believe that the Constitution is the law of the country and must be protected from those who would destroy it.

It's simplicity with no hidden agendas. It is what it is!

There is no one TEA PARTY and that's why it works. They can't be taken over by anyone who would do it harm. We are too smart for that!

Find yourself an "organic" group if that is really your thing! There are TEA PARTY groups that fit all REAL patriots. Sounds like someone stepped on your tail and you are still howling!

Which Tea Party, 2007 or 2009? It makes a huge difference as one is really about Constitutionallly limited government, national defense over national offense, and re-expansion of liberty, and the other is a railroaded watered down version serving as a wing of the neocon movement.
