So, you call that fearless? You have lost credibility by questioning my statement to the effect that Americans are doing these things. Not all are but it is done and we have bad eggs in the military just like other countries. And we have bad politicians who place young people in a position to do those things because they have a love of money and not liberty.

It is so easy to see you and your friends are bullies and would push anyone around who would dare stand up to you. People like you don't want peace in the world but want to prove their importance by saying they are warriors and they are patriots. You do not know how to be civil and conduct yourself with dignity but rather throw rocks and sticks at any who get in your way.

Whether it be an honest mistake or not, my question is why are we there getting our people killed? We would be better off to get out of their countries and defend our home. The blood letting of both the fluid kind and the money kind will put an end to us.

Thank you my friend and... yours.. also is great and meaningful.... I only hope he can see the light and realize that we as a Nation have to preserve LIBERTY AND FREEDOM even as out forefathers did. Freedom is not free today nor in the 240 years before. Someone is always trying to over run the free and it takes the brave to repel the forces of evil.

Our forefathers gave of themselves with hardships that would be nearly impossible to think of today. They did it on this soil to drive off an enemy that would keep us colonized, pick our pockets, and probably enslave us if they felt the need. (Which actually they did by taking citizens off ships and forcing them to fight for Britain.)

We were warned by these same men not to interfere in foreign affairs once the war was over. Being friends and trading with other countries was the rule of that day.

It stands because a soldier in the field takes the responsibility for his actions. Whether he is court martial ed or not. Does the shedding of innocent foreigner's blood take away from the deed.

Someone somewhere spoke of the women and children that were booby trapped or had weapons on them to kill Americans in Vietnam. I don't doubt this one bit and they were probably forced to do it or be killed on the spot.

As far as stopping Communism going to Vietnam did not stop or hinder it but caused us loss of life, loss of property and loss of standing in the world. Communist countries that try to export their belief will die like the USSR.

Thank you Sir. It is good to see a veteran who gave and is still Thankful for our country and Freedom. So many who have never given criticize our country and would not defend our freedom but still enjoy all we have. I too have served but it was the Cold War 1959 -1962 Served 13 months in Korea and North Korea was still threatening and did come across the DMZ to skirmish. If called I would willingly go even now.
