Bill Maher is not a filmmaker, he is an entertainer of the same ilk (but the other side) of Rush Limbaugh. Rush is notorious for publishing damning articles and making really damning statements on that radio show of his and I don't see anyone making a real fuss about him at this time. He's made enough statements against Islam to fill a toilet has made contributions to the RNC and you think nothing of it, but because it is someone who supports Obama, you loose your mind. Besides the idiot who made the film that raised all the fuss is Islamic himself.

Love the way this got twisted to not deal with the issues.

Yep, Bill Maher did donate to Obama and yep, he made an anti religion film.. but here's the last 5 minutes of it...

I see just as much about Christians as anyone in that part so.. it's not all about him making fun of Muslims for the last 20 minutes. He pretty much takes on any religion that he can during the movie.. but I own a copy so I've seen it a few times.

And.. yes, that "trailer" for the movie that helped get the riots going all over the world.. that WAS on you tube for a long time BUT it had only recently been translated into Arabic and then broadcast on Egyptian TV.

Timing is everything...

I hardly see it as blood money. This is a reoccuring pattern in the Muslim world anything about Islam is hate speech, even a nice picture of Muhammad is punishable by death, being a christian punishable by death. So we either have free speech or we allow Islam to dictate what we say or do?

The video did not cause all the reactions if you believe that then you don't understand Islam. Also the German's were attacked and the UN who had nothing to do with the film. If you have seen the film or trailers as I have it's so lame as to give lame a word. Remember a cartoon in Holland got people killed. This is not the religion of peace. And if only a small part of people feel this way where are the large parts that don't? Where are their peaceful marches..the Goverment of Egypt has called for a million man march against the film...so again who is tossing gas on the fire that they started?
