I don't understand why anyone would do this but I've seen way too much of it.

There was a fellow some years back wearing a Special Forces Uniform and claiming to have done the acts of one of my family members which earned him a Medal of Honor. Fortunately, the guy was exposed.

My late family member was not around to speak up for himself.

I heard yesterday on the news that the Armed Services is considering an accessible data-base that would list all awards for verification since the Supreme Court overturned the stolen valor law. Well, Kenneth Aden can joint the ranks of the other Democrat liars!

This man just happens to be a democrat , republicans are not above doing the same thing and telling some lies . I am a republican and am pretty embarassed by the dirty tricks and lies some members of my own party try to pull on people . A lie like this should be public , but his political affiliation is not to blame it is his moral upbringing.
