That article was met by skepticism by some that claimed Anonymous does not target political movements but just released on the Anonymous website is another threat this time towards Koch Industries which funds the Tea Party:

Press Release: #OpWisconsin
Dear Citizens of the United States of America,
It has come to our attention that the brothers, David and Charles Koch--the billionaire owners of Koch Industries--have long attempted to usurp American Democracy. Their actions to undermine the legitimate political process in Wisconsin are the final straw. Starting today we fight back.
Koch Industries, and oligarchs like them, have most recently started to manipulate the political agenda in Wisconsin. Governor Walker's union-busting budget plan contains a clause that went nearly un-noticed. This clause would allow the sale of publicly owned utility plants in Wisconsin to private parties (specifically, Koch Industries) at any price, no matter how low, without a public bidding process. The Koch's have helped to fuel the unrest in Wisconsin and the drive behind the bill to eliminate the collective bargaining power of unions in a bid to gain a monopoly over the state's power supplies.
The Koch brothers have made a science of fabricating 'grassroots' organizations and advertising campaigns to support them in an attempt to sway voters based on their falsehoods. Americans for Prosperity, Club for Growth and Citizens United are just a few of these organizations. In a world where corporate money has become the lifeblood of political influence, the labor unions are one of the few ways citizens have to fight against corporate greed. Anonymous cannot ignore the plight of the
citizen-workers of Wisconsin, or the opportunity to fight for the people in America's broken political system. For these reasons, we feel that the Koch brothers threaten the United States democratic system and,by extension, all freedom-loving individuals everywhere. As such, we have no choice but to spread the word of the Koch brothers' political manipulation, their single-minded intent and the insidious truth of
their actions in Wisconsin, for all to witness.
Anonymous hears the voice of the downtrodden American people, whose rights and liberties are being systematically removed one by one, even when their own government refuses to listen or worse - is complicit in these attacks. We are actively seeking vulnerabilities, but in the mean time we are calling for all supporters of true Democracy, and Freedom of The People, to boycott all Koch Industries' paper products. We welcome unions across the globe to join us in this boycott to show that you will not allow big business to dictate your freedom.
See the website for list of Koch Industries products Anonymous is asking people to boycott: http://anonnews.org/?p=press&a;=item&i;=585
The words you need to pay attention to in this post are "We are actively seeking vulnerabilities," and what that usually means is Anonymous will hack the Koch Industries websites to collect data such as email, private information, customer information, financial records etc.to be exposed and then a full blown attack on the Koch websites will be performed to shut them down.
This could be very damaging to Koch Industries and the Tea Party if Anonymous pulls it off!

Willie 2011/02/27 09:12:30+5When I was a young man, before the internet (heck, before people had home computers), before cell and smart phones and all of that, I read Marx and Engels, Trotsky, Ricardo, Sraffa and the whole gang. I wondered if America would ever reach the point where revolution was possible. This was before 9/11/2001, and long after Pearl Harbor. Most Americans had never experienced bloodshed on their own soil. Would they ever rise up? For how long would capitalists give the workers enough to keep them sedated?
Technology has rendered these questions as obsolete as my old 8-track player. Recent events have shown that technology will be the weapon of the revolution. The revolution will be bloodless. It doesn't have to be Anonymous (though it may well be). Any person or group who hungers for righteousness will be able to act against corporate tyranny. Technology will level the playing field. Viva la Anonymous! Viva la Wikileaks!

I do not support such an attack or action. The government will use such actions to restrict the internet and that is the first step toward controlling free speech and sharing thought. The Koch Brothers are the ire of those who dislike the Tea Party movement, and George Soros is the "evil puppet master" for those who dislike liberals and progressives. Attacking the free speech of such individuals, groups, and their efforts at political outreach are wrong and intolerant. Actions such as hacking internet website to cause confusion and making them inoperable are criminal acts and should be prosecuted. Sadly, these acts are the first step to allowing government to justify control of the internet and real oversight of the public.
Limiting the role of money in the election process is important, and the key to change. However, both liberals and conservatives seem to have significant financial backing to continue this ourageous spending aimed at demonizing and attacking the motives and "Americanism" of each side.

This will never get a prosecution, and is blatantly illegal vigilantism, But at the very least, perhaps it will give some light to the American people.
P.S., Michael Keaton is Bat Man.
As long as they agree with it, they'll defend it.
I agree with you that some things are not protected by the First Amendment. The problem is that the far left believe that only they have the right to say or do things but will stop at nothing to try to call out others for doing the same thing, especially if they don't agree with it.
