She is really creating the problem herself. She has been condescending and dismissive of the majority of people in this country by calling us "you people" and saying "this is so hard."
You know what's hard, Ann? Having two children, waking them at 6am to get ready to go to daycare, dropping them off, catching the train, working til 5pm, catching the train home, picking up the kids, getting home, cooking supper, playing with kids or helping them with their homework, bathing them, getting them to bed and then falling asleep from sheer exhaustion. Then do it four more times a week.
Most of us can't look forward to the weekend at one of our many vacation homes. We have to shop for food, clean the house, do the laundry, take kids to sports, dance class etc. Then tell me what's so "hard" about her life. She should keep her mouth shut if she has nothing good to say.

If he were president and constantly screwing up, because it is more intense then a campaign, I do not want to here his wife whining about how hard it is. Work normally is hard and that is why they call it work.

Must be kind of like that "blind trust" thingy, where you just don't really know where your millions are, or if you're paying taxes on them.
uh huh.
If you think the application process is difficult, Ann, you are not ready for the job of First Lady. And your husband, who opens his mouth only to change feet, is not ready for the presidency. But we knew that already.
My friend had a home that she had redone to accommodate her wheelchair for MS. Then she lost her job. Then she ran through her savings because her illness is so expensive when you don't have tons of money and access to the best health care that Ann does. Then, she lost her home. Now she lives in an apartment and has to lean on her daughter for help.
MS wasn't a f*cking "GIFT" to her.
Think before you speak, Ann. You are just as oblivious to your privilege as your insufferable husband is.
Thank you, both, for you sweetness. Pass those hugs on in real life to those you love - just because. I've learned that each day is a gift and not a day goes by that several times I tell my husband and daughters that I love them. I refuse to leave this planet with regret. No one should. ; )
I only hope that Ann Romney takes a deeper look, at some point, and realizes that what she and Mitt were given was a real gift - and they are squandering it...
