Many people haven't been exposed to Andrew Klavan. He's one of the most upfront, rationale commentators I have ever experienced. He comments "On The Culture." Take a look forom his newest to his not so newest.

He's fairly amusing. But as a public school teacher, and worse yet, an Art teacher, I have to kind of take exception to be singled out. First, my department is the only one in the school where 100% of us are conservatives. Try that one on for size. However, being a working artist as a conservative is a difficult road. We cannot access normal networks. I have one conservative student who is tenatively doing a distorted grid painting of the president. She's terrified it will be seen as racist. And that's sad because if we have that mindset in our high school students, then we also will have an entire generation that will hide their true beliefs for fear of being ostracized. Just a case in point, but it needed to be said.
