Derek James, a North Carolina news anchor, is accusing Anderson Cooper of ripping him off by copying a segment in which James gave a "dramatic reading" of Snooki's first book, Mediaite reports.

Normally, we would pit the two against each other to determine who did it best, but unfortunately there are no video clips of either of the readings online, so we suppose you'll have to pick sides based on your opinion of gray hair.

“I did it first, and I did it best,” James said, declaring Cooper “the most ridiculististist (sic?) person in the world,” which will probably result in a massive self-esteem collapse for Cooper at the worst possible time, just as Cooper prepares to move to 8 p.m. and launch a new daytime talk show, "Anderson," that–as luck would have it–is on [James' channel].

edit: its about snookies book -_- now i might not take a side after all.
Big deal, I wonder if James hacked any victims e-mail or voice mail to get a story? after watching both clips, (neither showing context of the reading) I like Andersons reading better.
