"The truth is, that, even with the most secure tenure of office, during good behavior, the danger is not, that the judges will be too firm in resisting public opinion, and in defence of private rights or public liberties; but, that they will be ready to yield themselves to the passions, and politics, and prejudices of the day." -- Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution, 1833

"[J]udges, therefore, should be always men of learning and experience in the laws, of exemplary morals, great patience, calmness, coolness, and attention. Their minds should not be distracted with jarring interests; they should not be dependent upon any man, or body of men." -- John Adams, Thoughts on Government, 1776

The dignity and stability of government in all its branches, the morals of the people, and every blessing of society depend so much upon an upright and skillful administration of justice, that the judicial power ought to be distinct from both the legislative and executive, and independent upon both, that so it may be a check upon both, and both should be checks upon that. -- John Adams, Thoughts on Government, 1776

She is an active supporter of La Razaa which is a clear cut conflict of interests to be a justice. A stance against any constitutional law is disqualification by all rights. The thought of a Sotomayor and a Pelosi in power positions in the same decade scares the hell out of me.

This woman is just another cog in the crushing wheels of "justice" Obama is thrusting upon us all.

From National Health Care, Cap & Trade, High as an Elephants (not GOP) Eye Taxes, Property Rights infringment (this is where Sonja baby will shine BTW), you name it.........

The Looney Left has their minons in tow and their puppet at top. Things are ready!

(aside from being a flat out racist, this woman is against Property Rights - from which all our other emanate IMHO - and will do Obama's "bullying from the bench" activism for the rest of her days................)

There were many people I saw predict that the Shamnesty bill would be passed but, we, the people, flooded the phones so heavily that we crashed the Senate phone system down.

There is every reason to know that we still rightly hold the power when we fight for what's right. United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

So when was Sotomayor ever rational? So-called "federal" decisions have no jurisdiction outside of DC and US territories. The separate and sovereign fifty states make their own decisions, regardless of what DC would have you believe. George Washington declared firearms to be the people;s freedom teeth and were second only to the Constitution itself in importance. And the confiscation of property illegally is no shock when such corrupt individuals as Sotomayor run the country from top to bottom. We are no better than Mexico in that respect. Having said that, this witch will likely be placed in our supreme court anyway--what a blatant and overt shame!

"Death to tyrants" is sounding more appealing all the time. While Gulliver slept, the Lilliputians tied him down with one string after another. We are no different. It is time to wake the giant.
