Strictly POLITICS ! Obama could give a shyt less about illegals but if he thinks it will pick him up a few extra votes, he's all for it. Nothing more, nothing less !

Hey Mr. obama, I was born in this country too...granted so were my great-great grandparents but who's counting? Anyway, what are you going to give me for my vote?

Nothing. He'd push you over the cliff as soon as look at you, just the same as he would do with any other natural born citizen.

The USA is broke, and we don't have enough jobs for American citizens who want to work. It would be nice to help everybody in the world with food, housing, health care, etc. But, we don't have enough money for our own citizens in need of help.

Well actually the deportation of illegal immigrants has actually hurt our economy in many instances. One farming town, for instance (I cannot remember which town atm) had their large population of illegal immigrants deported a few years back. Unfortunately, the American citizens of that town and nearby towns were unwilling to work the jobs that these illegal immigrants had worked and the farmers lost huge amounts of crops, greatly hurting them and in turn hurting the economy.

Then people from the cities who have never paid their own way should be bused out to the farms and forced to pick the crop. No workie, no money, no housing, no food stamps, etc.

Pure treason to circumvent Congress on this. I believe it's in Article 1 of the Constitution. Not sure which section it's under right off hand...hey it's barely 7am and I haven't had my second coffee yet.

Securing the border comes first. If conservatives do not hold amnesty hostage to securing the border, liberals will never be adults. They require spankings on a regular basis. It's that tough love thing. LOL

Doing an 'end-run' around the legislative branch for votes was wrong and (I believe) will be legally challenged. I actually supported much of the Dream Act as many immigrant kids don't 'know' their native homes and it is wrong to punish them. But without proper reform (through the legislative branch as the constitution dictates), the courts have to decide, case by case. Not the president by fiat.

While I do disagree with the DREAM Act you get a rave for this post here. 'End-runs' around the legislative branch are reprehensible.

How about, to go to college, to get a good education, to become a doctor, a lawyer a scientist? All the good things that most young immigrants want?

Under the liberal law ,the immigrants are rewarded more than the those of us who have lived here forever. don't you get it, they are rewared for their votes to sustain the democratic party.

Illegal immigrants aren't.... They aren't even eligible to vote unless they stole a ss number, which the majority haven't.

If you say so... whatever...I know many illegal immigrants personally and none of them get any government benefits or get to vote, unless they have stolen a social security number which most have not

They have a chance in their own countries instead of draining our economy which has to be fixed before we even start to discuss this issue.
