Americans are creating green energy jobs: IN AFRICA, LOL!!
U.S. Pledges $20 Million, and Counting, for African “Clean Energy” Projects
I guess they need the money and jobs much more than we do here. Remember folks, it's a GLOBAL economy. TRICKLE UP ECONOMICS.
As a wealthy nation, Americans MUST send their taxpayer money to poor countries to build jobs, fight poverty, build schools, build hospitals, fix roads, and build bridges. By doing so, the wealth of those countries will EVENTUALLY trickle back to you.
Americans have been sending their tax money overseas for so long, that some countries depend on it. It's the only way they can keep taxes low for their citizens and provide them with low-cost healthcare and social programs.
Our military bases on their lands provide all the security they need. They don't have to spend 25% of their annual budget on defense. It's not their soldiers getting killed so, why Not have American soldiers protecting their borders?
So whenever you wonder why we re-distribute so much of the American taxpayer wealth overseas, just remember, IT WILL EVENTUALLY TRICKLE BACK TO YOU.

Training more Communsts or making friends for Democracy. I know what I choose.
Maybe the MONEY won't "trickle back" -- but the people might not trickle away either.
glad you posted it so people can see what obama is doing around the world rather than create jobs in America
When you wonder why things are so screwed up remember how petty and self absorbed this country has become.
Don't you get it? Collapse is inevitable
Except for Mexico, of course, LOL!!
Don't forget about the half a billion in money Bush gave to an electric Finnish car company that created hundreds of jobs in Finland through the Energy Department program, which predates the Obama administration. It was not part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, also known as the stimulus. In fact, it’s a program signed into existence by President George W. Bush in 2007 and first funded by legislation Bush signed in 2008.

The Bush administration was in charge when the company filed its application. The Obama administration was in charge when the company’s loan was approved. The stimulus bill had nothing to do with it.
There is nothing accurate in this claim. The federal loan guarantees the company received were not part of the stimulus, and there is no evidence that any government dollars paid for work done by African workers.
The aim of the post is to make Americans think. We have 16+ Trillion natl debt, we have 3 years straight 1+ Trillion budget deficits, lowered credit rating, multiple increases in debt limit borrowing, double-digit inflation, increased gas/food/energy costs, etc...
What I am saying is that, NOW is not the right time to throw money at side projects. I want energy alternatives too, but there are more pressing issues at this time.
apparently, we don't have other pressing issues at the time if we are wasting our time complaining about $20 million dollars that especially can benefit the US economy thru expanded business. the governments spends $20 million just about every 3 minutes. But How much money are spending on military again? 50 percent of federal spending is for military.
this is simple macroeconomics.
one country's economy can affects another. The US, which accounts for a quarter of world GDP, DOES affect the rest of the world. The same goes for the EU. the EU is actually a bit larger than the US. Together you are talking about HALF of world GDP. If One African country struggles, the others have to give them help before it drags down their economy. so The U.S.'s economy gets a boost when a third- world country is more secure because it opens up new markets for more US products and services. With the world economy changing into one entity more and more we will probably see more countries combining currencies. We are all going to be in this together whether we like it or not.
You are saying 25 percent like it's nothing. I meant to say More than 50 percent of federal income taxes are used for military spending. We are wasting our tax dollars on defense. How many jobs has the defense sector created ever since 9/11?
"...but we have a lot of folks hurting right now."
you are one narrow-minded individual. your track-minded is disgusting. is it too complicated for us to do BOTH (help Americans and people from third-worlds)? There is no either-or option. Governments can and should address both economic issues and social problems.
Then after Vince Foster was Murdered she Removed his Hard Drive that had Evidence on it.
Hillary, Bill, Most of the democrats, including Obama have private Bank Accounts in the Bank at the Vatican including many Republicans too
Those that are Crooks like her
We have plenty of money laying around. Last year we gave away around 50 BILLION taxpayer dollars in foreign aid alone!
How much more we could help our citizens and allies if we were completely debt-free?
The majority of Americans on all sides recently polled support the idea of tax reform. It's the politicians who are scared. Manipulating the tax code in exchange for votes is one of their best weapons.
