Allen West says about 80 Democrats in Congress are Communists, and that Barack Obama fears having to debate him. Do you agree with West?

Hitler was elected on a platform of socialism. Do you think someone who makes $100,000 a year should give his money to someone who doesn't?

Hitler was not a communist. Hitler was a fascist. Nazism was Germany's brand of fascism.

West is incorrect in saying socialists are communists. He's doing it for hyperbole, not for accuracy. He knows the majority of his base doesn't know the different either.

The two are politically inter-connected. "Pure" Marx communism was adapted by the Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics [U.S.S.R.]. Apparently you're unable to distinguish textbook to real-world applications as West is able to do.

Yes, because I have a list of them. I don't really know if they are socialists or communists, but it doesn't matter as socialism is merely the first act of communism. Here's the list:

The Socialist Party of America announced in their October 2009 newsletter that 70 Congressional democrats currently belong to their caucus.
This admission was recently posted on Scribd.com:

Melvin Watt, Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, Steve Cohen, Barbara Lee, Robert Wexler, Linda Sanchez [there are 23 Democrats on the Judiciary Committee of which eleven, almost half, are now members of the DSA].

You do realize that list is of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and has nothing to do with the DSA?

If you go to the scribd page and compare it to an actual DSA newsletter, you find it looks nothing like them. Incidentally, that scribd page claims the source is from a website, but if you go look at that website on the Wayback Machine, you'll notice that no such list was ever on it.

    It's a fake.

The communist party's endorsement has to be considered as an acknowledgement that Obama is close in ideas and policy to the communist party ideas and policy position.

My father served 3 tours in the Vietnam War and remained in the US Army for 32 years before retiring. So, in response to your question, I am fully aware of the type of punishments that are given to soldiers.

You are correct in stating that he was forced to retire early for the interrogation incident.

However, I believe his punishment was way overboard for what occurred.

He was given information from a reliable resource that an ambush of his soldiers was being planned. One of the key suspects in the planning of the ambush was brought in to be questioned. West had never been involved in an interrogation before and was not even in the room during questioning. When the suspect would not fold, West took out his firearm, put it close to the suspect and fire a round in to the wall. That is the only thing he did, and considering the fact that the ambush was thwarted after the interrogation, I'd have to say that the end justified the means.

The following quote sums up West's devotion to his soldiers -

"If it's about the lives of my soldiers at stake, I'd go through hell with a gasoline can."
