Allen West Gets His Recount, Still a Loser

UPDATE: November 20, 2012. Allen West Has Conceded Defeat.

http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/allen-west-finally-conc...

Since election day a surprising number of Right Wingers have remained in complete denial at the results. Despite President Obama's decisive victory, with an electoral vote total that Republicans pundits were calling a "landslide" when they thought the numbers would be reversed, the Right Wing is still looking for excuses. But none have shown the degree of denial than the Right Wing's favorite disgraced torturing Islamophobic misogynist, Allen West. You have to wonder, now that a recount has demonstrated that the torturer actually lost by even MORE votes than was thought the day after election, if he is ever going to give it up. My guess is that he won't, but you never know. Maybe he'll just find some new innocent people to torture and go away.

Allen West Gets His Recount, Still a Loser

Oh, Allen West. Give it up, already. It's pathetic when you go to court to get a recount and the recount shows you lost by more votes than the first count did, though it does speak to the issues we've got surrounding accuracy in vote tabulation.

Via Politico:

Florida Rep. Allen West’s reelection prospects grew dimmer Sunday, as a recount of early ballots showed him falling further behind his Democratic opponent.

Democrat Patrick Murphy, a 29-year-old construction company executive, gained 242 votes after the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections completed its re-tabulation, increasing his lead to more than 2,100 votes over West, a tea party hero. Murphy’s lead is just outside the 0.5 percent margin that would trigger an automatic district-wide recount under Florida law.

[...]

Tim Edson, West’s campaign manager, said the advisers would be spending the coming hours assessing the vote totals. He did not specify whether the congressman had any plans to concede. Advisers said it was unlikely any decision would come Sunday.

“We’re going to take a look at where things stand,” Edson said. “If we believe the results are fair and accurate, we’re going to decide how to move forward. That decision has not been made.”

Let me help you all. When you were losing by 1,900 votes and now you're losing by 2,100 votes, give or take a few, you have nowhere to go but concession.

I'm sure Fox News will hire former Rep. West as a commentator, but first he has to accept reality. You lost, dude. Step down and let the Democrat take his seat now.

"Jesus" bailed weeks ago. He was seen heading north to the six "swing states" where he campaigned hard for Barack Obama, making a big difference in the eventual outcome.

Yep, the reception given in Texas, Florida, and ten other "red states". That's why he rode the donkey north and helped Obama.

Funny, when right wingers say hateful things about Obama they're racist, but when left wingers do it to Allen West it's fine.

Funny, but I've noticed that right-wingers tend to say hateful things about anybody or anything that isn't a white right-winger. True? The Tea Party is dead. RIP.

Actually, not true since right wingers like Allen West. He is African American, right? And left wingers say hateful and childish things to people who don't have the same political beliefs too, names like "RWNJ" is proof of that.

That's your point of view. They say things about the economy or his origin to prove Obama is bad just like you say things to prove Allen West is bad. And no one on here has given one piece of evidence that Allen West is a bad person, so would care to do it for them?

West tortured a prisoner of war, and was asked to leave the military because of it.

And his political comments show clearly that he's an ignorant clown.

    Or didn't you notice?

    Not random . . . opportunistic.

I support my claim by pointing out what a complete wacko West is, yet some Republicans still laud him because he's one of very few and very far between.

His own ridiculousness makes the case.

"Since election day a surprising number of Right Wingers have remained in complete denial at the results"? Disagree. It is NOT surprising that so many have remained in complete denial of the results. Such denial is par for the course on the lunatic fringe.

Many of them live in the alternate reality bubble of Right-Wing Fantasyland, where the eagerly swallow (slurp??) propaganda from the Conservative Disinformation Network.

BTW: For those who question the claim that West is a "torturer," his mock execution of an Iraqi detainee constitutes psychological torture. He was given Article 15 Nonjudicial Punishment and forced to retire for his crime.

"I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. That is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant." - Martin Luther King Jr. (1929 - 1968)

It seem to me that if Jebb Bush was worth his salt he could have "fixed" things for Mr. West. With all the resources available to the right wing down there in Florida, how could
this man not win by a large majority? After all he is a radical right winger, a warmonger, a
spokesman for tea baggers and the military-industrial corporate complex, and a handsome black man. Oh Oh, maybe one or more of his attributes is not such a benefit down their in Dixie? Could that really be true? OMG, maybe we had better analyze this thing again.

Jeb Bush is out of office, it's Rick "Lex Luthor" Scott who's governor of Florida now.
