Rep. Allen West lashed out Thursday against what he described as race
baiting by Democrats determined to defeat his re-election bid this year and keep
Mitt Romney out of the White House.

Mitt Romney out of the White House.
Speaking with Fox News' Sean Hannity, the Florida Republican described a
super PAC ad depicting him punching white women as racist because it portrays
him as what he characterized as a “stereotypical” violent, black male.

“It has me with a gold tooth. And I think you can see from my smile, I
don't have a gold tooth,” West told Hannity. “I think that that is quite
stereotypical. And then of course having me as an African-American male,
punching a white senior woman and then another white woman, that is definitely
not in concert with the values that I stand for.”

The ad being run by a political action committee in support of his
Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy goes after West for “voting to end Medicare
as we know it,” cutting women's healthcare, and supporting a GOP budget that
“has mauled middle-class families.”

“I don’t believe in violence against women. But this is what happens, Sean,
when you’re in the age of [President Barack] Obama and the age [of ] the liberal
progressives,” West told Hannity. “You cannot talk about the issues, they cannot
run on any type of record, you cannot talk about the economy, the debt, and
deficit.

“So these are the type of attacks against your character, the lies that
they put out there,” he added.

West also recalled the attacks from Democrats after he made a speech
kicking off his re-election campaign earlier this year, in which he said the
growth in the nation's food stamp program was “a new form of enslavement.”

“Of course, everyone on the left went absolutely idiotic and tried to
condemn me about bringing up the specter of slavery. You know, it’s . . .
hypocrisy,” West said.

He also noted that if Romney’s GOP running mate Paul Ryan had said what
Vice President Joe Biden did about Republican policies putting black Americans
“back in chains,” the Democrats would have gone “absolutely apoplectic.”

West said he believes the Democrats and the Obama campaign have adopted a
strategy to go after “black conservatives” in the Republican Party, including
Condoleezza Rice and others because “we intimidate them.”

“They’re afraid of us because there are more of us that are able to stand
up on our own and talk about the failures of liberal progressive policies,
especially toward the black community,” West said. “They . . . definitely don’t
want to have individuals that can stand up on their own.”

West said Democrats are playing the race card because “they want to make
sure that they get that large voting electorate out there from the different
communities.”

They look at us as collectives, not as individuals,” he continued. “And you
have to understand that this is going to continue to happen. And the president
emanating from Chicago, it's all about Chicago-style politics, it's about fear
and intimidation, it's about lies and deceit."

Jeff Smith 2012/08/20 02:05:13+3We didn't really need Alan West to tell us that. We already know the Dems fear anyone with a brain.

am about to post it.....along with the posts from Anita Moncrief, Barbara from NY, and others.
Thanks so much.....this video is fabulous!
Can't wait for his "Runaway Slave" movie to go viral!
the answer to that is YES. Look how Axelrod dredged up this old blond from his
apartment building, who happened to be in arrears with her rent, hooked her up
with Gloria Allred and made laughable charges against Herman Cain........ and with
the stereotypical fantasy of black men attack blond white women.
Just think if a few Blacks said, "you know they got off the plantation, maybe I can too",
would do the the black voting block? A few and then a few more leads to many.
thinking people of all races.
