Allen West would make a good VP choice for *anyone* running for President against Obama. He qualifies for the job, and he has been in the field and gotten "up close and personal" with the enemy.

I keep hearing Democraps saying that all Obama would have to do is choice Nancy Pelosi as his running mate and it would not matter whomever Romney picks. Let's see, a successful business man (Romney) with a running mate like Allen West (a very well liked conservative) running against the incumbent President that has put the US in the deepest debt paired with the ex speaker of the house that helped Obama achieve his goal of selling out the American way of life. I think the Dems need to put down the kool aid and take off the rose colored glasses and see Obama for who he is.

Since Romney is kind of a weak conservative, he needs a strong conservative at his side.

That's like Obama choosing Pelosi as his VP. It's not going to get you any more votes than you're already going to get, because the base is going to vote for you anyways.

Pelosi is white, so she won't affect the ethnic make-up of voters like Allen West would. West would siphon off a couple million of the 12 million black votes Obama will otherwise get.

Again, I don't think moderates vote on race, so any black conservative is already going to vote Romney, and any black liberal is already going to vote Obama.

West ia a person that Mitt should seriously consider. West would be a VP that would have a great chance to run for President after his two terms of VP.

Nope. Although Marco Rubio and a few other RINO's are TRAITORS who want to attract more job-stealing illegals here with amnesty and college at taxpayer expense, same as Obama, Reid and most Dems have been trying to do, both West and Romney are pro-America. See, for example:

As long as Romney doesn't choose Rubio [a TRAITOR trying to attract more job-stealing illegals here with amnesty and college at taxpayer expense] I will vote for Romney. Unless you're an illegal alien, or a big fan of them, you should too. Here's why:

Oh, I would love it if he picked West as his VP. West is bat s**t crazy, and he would be like another Palin, going out on the campaign trail saying ugly things about the president. Obama's likablility is twice that of Romney, and good republicans and independents are getting tired of the personal attacks. Why do you think that Romney is now admitting that Obama is a nice guy? He knows personal attacks are not getting him anywhere.

West is proving a great congressman and speaker, but with only one term's experience he is too vulnerable for the VeeP slot in what Obama is going to make more a civil war than a regular election.

Ike Eisenhower had NO term in Congress or any other political office. West has that same LEADERSHIP ability that no career pols have.

Ike was a hero loved by all as the Supreme Allied Commander that won WWII and impervious to attack on his experience.

West has nothing but that one term in Congress, and as much I like what little he has been able to do and nearly (he was nearly at Sharpton's level on the Trayvon incident) all that he has said in his short time in the public's eye he is an easy target for the Left and would be shredded on his lack of experience.

If your wrong-headed opinion was followed back in 1952 Ike Eisenhower would have never been president. We don't want a career pol. We want a LEADER with the strength of character West has to turn our nation around.

No comparison. Palin's a quitter who lacks West's leadership ability as well as his knowledge of foreign policy and U.S. history. The man has TWO masters degrees and was a professor at a Florida university before running for Congress.

Obama [allegedly] was an instructor assistant to a professor, but we really don't know what he was or which schools he actually attended or graduated from because he won't release his school records. And the sum total of his political experience was two years of voting "present" in the Senate. He didn't vote for or against any piece of legislation, let alone did he sponsor or co-sponsor anything.

Whereas, in his very first week in Congress, West co-sponsored a bill to end birth-right citizenship for illegal aliens.

Columbia and Harvard awarded him degrees. In the real world, that has always sufficed as proof of attendance.
