I was just thinking about "To Catch a Predator" and the stigma those nasty men rightfully suffer. Why is it that when a woman such as Allanah Benton Wells does a similar thing in sleeping with a 12 year old boy, it doesn't seem to elicit as much outrage or disgust?

At 12 years old, I probably would have said, "I'm sorry.. put what where?" :)

But lets also be honest here. A lot of the young girls and guys dont quite look their age....it's scary. You meet a girl thinking she's at least old enough to drink and you find out she hasnt even graduated highschool...it's crazy!

I've never thought of statutory rape as a complicated issue.

Im wondering,, have in any of these instances the boys claimed victimization or have all of them stated they loved the woman who took advantage of them? I was thinking they all thought it was 'love' but dont know if thats the case for sure or not. Im again not saying its alright.. Im saying girls generally dont feel that way about their molester.. they definatly as a rule feel victimized... although the frequency is so much greater in the reverse that its hard to guess how often girls mistakenly think its 'love' . Probably more often than most realize.
Just an all around messed up situation... why in the hell anyone would be interested in a 12 year old or even a grown man in a 16-17 year old is beyond me. Seriousely,, what does a child have to offer an adult except somone who will do and believe whatever they sa...

Seriousely,, what does a child have to offer an adult except somone who will do and believe whatever they say? Clearly the women and men who do this need deep psychological help, because its not 'normal' to desire a 'partner' who is not on the same level of wisdom and intellegence as yourself.

I'm guessing if the women was older and unattractive would they possibly

A woman can walk into her office semi naked and be fine... although if a bloke looks at her in any way she doesn't like she can have him fired for sexual harasment. A bloke could walk in also semi naked (and he might look like Adonis) he will probably be fired for indecent exposure and being inappropriately attired. What's all that about?

But the boy was 12... he still had a couple more years to go for high school... 12 year olds are still more interested in skate boards and uh... tv?
