Allan West for VP?

A Tea Party activist starts by pointing out two things that most people miss:

Marco Rubio is not qualified to run for President or Vice-President. He is not a natural born citizen within the meaning of Article II, Section 1, Paragraph 5, or Amendment XII. Marco Rubio's parents did not get naturalized until Marco was five years old. (But Marco Rubio's son could run for President someday--that is, if the Lord tarries.)
And Condi Rice? It would be Iraq War Redux. Not to mention her position in favor of abortion.

So the activist gives his choice: Representative (former Lt. Col.) Allan West.

The press has the audacity to tell us Allan West is the new voice of
the African Americans. How they love to create a racial divide. I’m sick
and tired of you clowns making race, ethnicity and religion an issue.
Allan West is an American! Americans come in all colors nationalities,
races and religions. That’s what makes us exceptional, something
numb-nuts will never understand.

So let me be clear, Rep. (Col.) Allan West is a voice of the American
people. What this country needs is an educated patriot that speaks for
all the people, not any selective group. Col. West is the only true
voice out there at this time. It’s not the black vote, or the vote of
any one group it’s the vote of every American citizen that will put the
Marxist out of a job, (did I say job, this clown does nothing but tear
apart the Republic) In truth, both parties stink! Just maybe A Romney
–West ticket could unify us again. It is for that reason we in the
United States need a patriot, and educated man that can be respected by
all the voters regardless of party.

What say you? Would Allan West make a good Vice-President? Can you see him herding the most cantankerous cats in Christendom, the United States Senate?

Miss Carri I believe that no matter who the VP nomination is, the Lame stream propaganda machine will do their level best to destroy him/her. The fact that the nominee will be Republican will be enough for them to attack the nominee's character. Good comment though.

Although I would like to see West drafted to become VP ( as I would Condi Rice ) , West has said that he would not be VP . So , this question is just wishful thinking .

As for Rubio not being a Natural Born Citizen .......... THAT DON'T MATTER ANY MORE - since Obama proved to the world that it no longer exists .

West stated he didn't want the position of VP??????? I know he didn't want to be president but I heard him once state that he'd be content to be the VP. Has he since said he didn't want the position?? I'd at least like to see him as the SECDEF or even Secretary of state.

Either of those positions that you stated would be great ( Sec. of Def. would be a great position ) . He stated that he wanted some time in his present position ( he could do more good there )

i see no reason to have a criminal as a vp nominee. so far all the names listed for vp ahve shown that the gop is not risking anyone for the 2016 race this year. west as we know is a criminal. rubio as we know supports the so-called unconstitutional visa program of obama. ryan is not intereted in passing a budget but blaming others.

First of all, AllEn West with an "E" is not qualified to be Vice President of the United States. He needs more experience under his belt in the Congress before he can legitimately be a national leader. He has less that 20 months of experience in the Congress (that's actually LESS than the guy that managed to pull a fast one on us and win in 2008 with less than a full term in the Senate under his belt). Further more, he's prone to gaffes and is not a strong speaker.

Basically, if you took the worst aspects of Barack Obama (inexperience), Joe Biden (gaffes) and Sarah Palin (uninformed answers) you would have Allen West. Maybe he should run for Senate in 2016 and understand the process more.

Trust me, the Democrats WANT Allen West to be the VP Candidate. It would be a walk in the park for them and they could deflect all questions about the poor state of affairs of the economy to Romney's tax returns and West's torture scandal.
