All I have to say to Romney, is Please don't turn your campaign into the likes of both the failed campaigns that McCain ran. If your going to run, then use ever means you have to get your message across.

Romney again rejects using Jeremiah Wright to attack Obama, despite doing so in the past
Mitt Romney continued to distance his campaign from a conservative super
PAC's proposal to run ads linking President Barack Obama to his
controversial former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

This time, Obama has proven to be the worst president in the history of our Republic, and that alone is the thing that will be focused on.
Actually, if you think about it though, Romney made a tactile move that may go in his favor. He made himself look good and quit admirable in front of the American people by admonishing those who exploit Obama's pathetic and borderline criminal personal life, and pointing out that his campaign will focus on disastrous job Obama is doing as the occupant of our White House, knowing full well that “independent” PACs can do anything that they wish with the donations they receive.
They (the PACs) get the truth out about Obama's seedy past, and Romney' campaign can concentrate on Obama's failed and disastrous administration.
He was not vetted by the press or media, he was given hero status by them. When he had no logical record.
Now he has a complete record of FAILURE that he wants the country to ignore along with his personal history, by the way which was or should have been made public the day he opened his campaign. In fact he had no private life once he ran for the state legislature.
If every Republican has a public record according to the Democrats, then they do also. But once you take any office your no longer a private citizen. And once you ascribe to become the President of the United States, your personal records should be subject to scrutiny. Things like Birth Certificates, to verify Natural Born Citizenship, per the Constitution. Court, and Educational records to verify you are who you say you are as far as Education and any possible legal issues. And as far as I am concerned your personal and professional associations should be vetted as well. At least from 18 and above. Along with your record of accomplishments. both in the public sector and the private.
That goes for all candidates running for office, at whatever level, and whatever party.
This will be the first time for me in over 30 years to vote for a GOP presidential Nominee, and although it is evident that Obama was never vetted, what is important now is to get him out of office so that he will not do any further damage to our Republic. The way for the “GOP Nominee” (and I stress the point.. GOP Nominee) to do this is to run a campaign against Obama's disastrous record, now that he has one.
The biggest concern of the American people right now is the economy and jobs. Down on the list is the personal background of a Nominee. There is only so much money in a campaign coffer, and a good candidate will spend it wisely, and use it to counter his opponent's record based on the concerns of the people.
There is no way that I am saying that Obama should not be totally exposed as the fraud he is. What I'm trying to get across is (and apparently I didn't do a very good job of it) that Romney could have scored points (which I believe he did) with the voters whose number one concern is the economy and jobs, and want a Nominee who will run a campaign based on their number one concern.

Nominees have no control over PACs (or super PACs), or radio and TV talk show hosts, and Romney is smart enough to know that. I have listened to Romney long enough to profile his actions, and what I saw when he admonished the PAC for considering an Obama attack AD, it was a “wink wink, nod nod” statement that gave the perception he was taking the high road, all along knowing that the PACs and super PACs (and some radio and TV talk show hosts) are going to tear into Obama's past with a vengeance.
Obama will, by the time of the DNC Convention, will be so vetted, that we might just see Hillary Clinton accepting the democrat nomination that evening!
Romney needs to show he's less right-wing than the weirdos in his party or he will lose the independents.
Romney needs to prove that his record (in Massachusetts) created jobs . (clue: it didn't)
