Hey, anybody remember Air America, the radio "network" with the crazy lineup of left-wing loony tunes hosts? It struggled to get by for a few years, and then went kaput!
Well now it looks like Algore's "Current TV" cable channel is following in Air America's footsteps, according to a Newsweek article appearing on The Daily Beast website:

Well now it looks like Algore's "Current TV" cable channel is following in Air America's footsteps, according to a Newsweek article appearing on The Daily Beast website:

The article magnanimously describes the channel as "scrappy" and "struggling to catch on". What they really meant to say was "crappy" and "one foot in the grave".
It conveys how, in a desperate bid to save the channel, Algore "begged" Keith Olbermann (remember him?) not to go.
OMG! Any time you find yourself begging a two-bit hack like Olbermann to save your ass, that's a good sign that your ass ain't worth saving!
But wait! Undaunted, Algore is in the process of "remaking" the channel as the "anti-Fox". And who knows? With Olbermann as the anchor, and other luminary hosts like Cenk Uygur (?) and the "governor who ate Michigan", Jennifer Granholm, they may soon be matching Fox's 10,000,000 nightly viewers.

Your own gal says "liberal radio struggles".
Air America spawned a next generation. No matter what you think about it; it was an odd way to start liberal radio out. For conservatives it didn't start with a network, it grew. Air America was a way to start with a "bang" but had to deal with trying to sustain an entire network. It burned out. Liberal Talk did not. If the same happened to Current TV that would be fine. My point is 100% valid.
