Has anybody heard about this?

Airspace Over Flooded Nebraska Nuclear Power Plant Still Closed

On June 6th, the Federal Administration Aviation (FAA) issued a directive banning aircraft from entering the airspace within a two-mile radius of the plant.

“No pilots may operate an aircraft in the areas covered by this NOTAM,” referring to the “notice to airmen,” effective immediately.

The plant is reportedly at a stage 4 level of emergency, though the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD), which owns and operates the plant, denies this.

“This terminology is not accurate, and is not how emergencies at nuclear power plants are classified,” the OPPD says on a website created to counter rumors about the security of the Fort Calhoun plant.

Ever since fukushima (which they now admit had a meltdown within the first day and had at least 3 complete meltdowns), there has been a media blackout on nuclear disasters.

How dumb! The American people have a right to know what's happening .....especially when it involves a Potential nuclear disaster!

Guess though that it wouldn't look so good on Obama's report card if everyone knew about this!

    Thanks for answering BTW...

Most people, even here, dont want to talk about nuclear disasters. I'm not sure why, because so much information on political corruption is posted here.

Perhaps it's just too scary for them to contemplate or they think that it couldn't happen in America.

Nobody is immune from this....if there's a meltdown it will be felt by many.....Fukishima is a testimony to that!
