Tuition aid means student loans and the wording here is very bias. Those young people have been given a 2 year deferment from fear of deportation. Imagine being told in your early teens that you were adopted and that you are going to have to return to your biological parents who cannot speak English. That is how it must feel to kids who are deported because their parents brought them to the US. If they are on the straight and narrow path to a college education and they are upstanding citizens why would we not want to keep them here in the US? We need all the doctors, nurses, engineers, scientists, and educated citizens we can get. Why import them from other countries when we have a whole group here that are in their hearts American already.

They've just passed this bill in my state... sure let's bring some illegals in to support. When will they make the decision to support people who are here legally ? This would be a great thing for our own American students who now cant afford to go to school because their parents cant afford it. The Dream Act starts at home. I just dont get it.

It is criminal to reward criminals for breaking the law.

how come someone from another country can come hear, go to school, start a business, pay no taxes, and all at our expence. Further more get a loan at 1% interest, pay it back 5 yrs latter. And still pay no taxes. Legal alien or illegal it is wrong. The gov. won't do that for us.

Don't forget they get FOOD STAMPS, section 8 HOUSING subsidies... aid to DEPENDENT children for all those anchor babies, FREE cell phones...free breakfast, lunch and dinner, FREE education... btw... it is FREE to them... you and I are PAYING for it BIG time, as will our children and grand children they are SPENDING money we do not have on people who SHOULD NOT BE HERE.

But I don't live in the sh*thole state of NY that re-elects some of the worst scum and vermin to represent they're interests on a national scale: Schumer, Nadler, Weiner, etc and then wonder why they are closer and closer to resembling Zimbabwe on a much smaller scale.

Let's never forget this country has it's roots in immigrants. With the exception of the Native Americans.. everyone comes from another location in the world. With that said, it's accepted that this country is the United States of America and for over 225 years has controlled immigration. It's necessary due to population issues, national security issues, etc. that all who enter the boundaries of this country follow the necessary paths to gain citizenship... period. No exceptions.

So.. anyone who is an illegal (what does that word mean?) immigrant is not a citizen and should not be given any consideration or assistance other than the services of the officials and means back to wherever they come from. If they truly wish to be in this country, then follow the damn law and do what needs to be done just as my forefathers and the majority of our forefathers did before us. How dare anyone disgrace the actions of those who came before us by giving away what isn't theirs to give or take. I understand that there are some valid reasons for people to flee their country and I have sympathy for them as well.. but they just can't do what they want and spit on this country's very fabric.
