Al-Qaeda Seeks Botox For Weapons: End Botox Production?

Botox, a drug for several types of treatments including anti-aging, could potentially be used as an ingredient for terrorist weaponry. The botulinum toxin found in botox is one of the deadliest poisons on the planet, and a single drop of the toxin could kill someone. Of course, the drug itself is not a weapon, containing only a small amount of the actual toxin. However, access to the ingredients could lead to devastating results.
If the wrong people were put in charge of a botox plant, they would have access to the botulinum toxin and the capability to build powerful weapons. Al-Qaeda is already known to have sought after the toxin, and, with a botox plant, the terrorists could have an unlimited supply.
Should Botox production cease to prevent access to an ingredient for deadly weapons?

Anything can be used as a weapon, but Botox itself is absurd!
So, as long as there are appropriate safety precautions in place like there are for most things in this country which can be used as weapons, production should continue.
"If the wrong people were put in charge of a botox plant, they would have access to the botulinum toxin and the capability to build powerful weapons."
By the same logic, if the wrong people were in charge of a missile plant, they would have access to explosives and the capability to build actual weapons. Thank you. It's nice to see a conservative that believes we should stop producing weapons in this country.
No U.S. weapon production?
You didn't think that one through did you?
That was sarcasm, not a suggestion. It alluded to the irony of paranoia over botox plants "In the wrong hands" used as a weapon. Anything is a weapon in the wrong hands. Box-cutters took down the World Trade Center. We don't need to be paranoid over terrorists taking over botox plants if we're not already paranoid over them taking over weapons plants. Get it?
On critical thinking. Labeling Americans with different political opinions as aides to our enemies is clearly quite far from critical thinking. Jumping to his defense because he shares your political views is equally distant.
Think about it. The fact that someone has different political views than you does not make them your enemy.
As for defending anyone, you make the mistake of assuming I was. There was nothing in my comment to you about anything or anyone other than you and what you said.
Another assumption you make is that I share political views with the person you assumed I was defending.
Wow... talk about fuzzy thinking! Or is it fuzzy reading?
But you will be happy to know that I do agree with your last statement.
Cheers!
It's not my fault if you don't say remarkable things.
