Any chance at peace is preferable to war. But are we willing to make concessions at the risk of losing millions of dollars ? We are greedy and tend to think with our guns instead of our heads.

• Stop attacks on Western and U.S. interests
• Protect legitimate Western and U.S. interests in Muslim lands
• Stop provoking the U.S. and the West

And, in the eleventh year? After embedding themselves in all the Western nations, training a million or so volunteers to carry bombs into schoolrooms and shopping centers, gaining control of all the Mideastern nations, what then? These nutcases have nothing in mind but destruction of all Western cultures and establishing themselves as the dominate world power. They are losing the battle at present and want some breathing room to retrench. As a general rule I think you are right. in this instance when the offer is only suggested and is already filled with conditions that are not acceptable for a
dozen reasons, and from a source that takes pride in deception and lying,
talking would be a waste of time. Understanding the minds of Islamic jihadists
makes "talk" useless. They are conditioned from birth to hate all Western Cultures and long for their 70 "virgins". While we can't remove the hate we can help them
acquire the "virgins" before they are too old to complete the rapes.
