After 40+ years the "War on Drugs" hasn't done anything but cause the death of thousands of innocent people and cost billions in wasted money. Should we decriminalize pot and take the money out of it thereby ending the waste of lives and money ?

Yes. It's not about pot, but about ripping the freedom from an individual, taking away their rights, stealing their property, putting them into a cage, inflicting terror and abuse by placing them into a hostile environment where they face being raped, beaten, and murdered, etc based on a non-crime involving no victim or damage to another's property. It's not justice, it's the enslavement of individuals who do something another segment of society deems unacceptable. I can't believe everyone isn't outraged at the prospect of such a thing happening in America.
