And young people are going to be destroyed by the $15,000 in debt that was added to every American's bill just in 3.5 years. Now that 18 yr old will have to pay off $15.8 Trillion in debt, not counting paying for promises made to Seniors and all those state and local public employee pension shortfalls. Cook County (Chicago) alone has $1 Trillion in unfunded liabilities. (for the public school educated that means that $1 Trillion in I Owe You's have been written and there is no money in the bank to cover them)

You ought try compromising some.
1. The 1%ers supported Obama in the last election and until evidence shows otherwise, they still support him.
2. During the first 2 years, Obama and the Democrats had a filibuster-proof Congress and even now Democrats control the Senate.
3. It defies logic that someone who generally leans Republican would sacrifice their own business, profits, and self-interest just to join in with millions of others in some small hope of removing Obama from office. What is your narrative? That Republican are greedy or that they willingly sacrifice for others to defeat Obama?
4. The recessions of 1981, 1945, and 1937 were arguably worse than the recession of 2007-2009 that ended 5 months after Obama took office. What has he done since the recession ending over 3 years ago? Did any of his policies actually do anything to end the recession? The $825 Billion stimulus wasn't even begun to be spent before the recession ended.
5. There are more of the top 400 income earnings NOT paying any taxes now then there were when Bush was President.

HOWEVER, when you have a situation in which Congress is demonized and not respected by millions, and when the Supreme Court is demonized and not respected by millions, and when a majority, or close to it, are bascially on the dole, living off government entitlements and not paying Fed income taxes and the majority of journalists and lawyers support Obama, you have the potential of going that way. People could turn to a leader who uses executive power.
What happened in Germany in the 1930s, Venezuela, and, almost, Honduras, could happen in the US. As a German-American, it is hard to understand why Germans did what they did as they are rational, good, people, as are Americans. Yet it happened.
