Is anyone really surprised of the nastiness of the left. We see it here everyday.

Brad Pitt has never been my favorite person, but if someone was throwing threats around at my mother you can bet I would be all over it at the very least. The woman is entitled to an opinion at the very least without all this over the top bad mouthing.

Guess it shows where his priorities are.

I think we have such extreme racism on both sides but it is not so much talked about on our side. Did you know on the DEM side there is more anti-white hate then there is anti-black hate on the Republican side? As I said, threatens someones life because of their politics or religion, is a douchebag, and would have been much more valuable to the world, as stem-cells. This doesn't matter if the person is Liberal or Conservative. The people who have threatened the life of Mrs. Pitt, are an embarrassment to those of us who share their belief that her views are wrong and bigoted. But the evil of those who threatened her life, doesn't offset the evil of her bigotry. As I'm sure she told little Brad at one point or another: "two wrongs don't make a right". It's weird though, I don't know if I've ever heard a conservative who was not running for public office, condemn the murder of Dr. Tiller.

We all know that all groups large enough have the embarrassing, stupid, insane, criminal and hateful in their midst. Sometimes they're more representative of a group, sometimes they're not. Also, if the ACLU has no bearing on the topic, isn't involved in it or anything, it's pretty dishonest to drag it into the discussion.

As for Brad and his mother, that's between them. I'm not privy to the whole thing and it's not my interest to judge. I'm not into the drama. It's not within the realm of my control.

As a son, if anybody threatened my mother, they would be confronted by me in a millisecond. There is no family argument, she wrote an article and it was interpreted by the LSM as an anti-gay slam. Death threats from the LW then were generated against her. Brad Pitt should be outraged that anybody would threaten his mother...nuff said.

His mother put an article in the public domain. I condemn anyone who issues death threats, but the OP implies its a lib only strategy, which is clearly not the case.
I can't speak for Pitt or his motives, but sometimes it is better not to get down in the dirt. Perhaps he is supporting his mum in ways we have no knowledge of, perhaps he has lawyers who have advised him to keep schtum, who knows?
Without knowing why he hasn't spoken up, it's hard to reach an opinion either for or against him.

Which hasn't stopped the OP though :-)
