OOPS: Romney Accidentally Introduces Ryan As ‘The Next President Of The United States' | Mitt Romney accidentally introduced Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) — his Vice Presidential running mate — as the "next President of the United States," on Saturday. As the music swelled and Ryan ran out to the podium, the former Massachusetts governor clarified his introduction. "Every now and then I'm known to make a mistake," he said. "I did not make a mistake with this guy. But I can tell you this, he's going to be the next Vice President of the United States." Watch it:

Funny, but be assured the right and the media pulled out the clip where President Obama did the same thing, but corrected it in the same breath. So, I don't think this slip will go too far.

Quite honestly I didn't even pick up on it as I was too busy cheering, a hollerin', high fiving my husband and then standing in the middle of the family with such pride showing on my face. My husband said..."I think he just referred to him as the next president." I told him that would work just fine for me also.

Not a big deal. All politicians make those silly little gaffes in the heat of the moment.....it's the big gaffes that frighten me. Actually the following isn't really a gaffe but IMO a blantant LIE! I've posted this many many times and I apologize for being repetitive but it is one of my very favorites:

Understand it comes from both sides. I have my share of crude Liberals blocked but on the other hand I have a number of very kind liberals as friends. I generally don't resort to the "4th grader on the playrgound" routine but if provoked I am certain there are a few comments I've posted of which I am not proud. oops.

stupid of you to point out a simple mistake by romney. BTW did you see how quickly he recovered with grace and poise when he came back on stage and said "I've been known to make mistakes, and ryan will be the next VICE president" classy recovery and it shows that romney is a man who can laugh at himself.
