You're talking about the guy that has lowered taxes to the point that they are the lowest in over 30 years? But you go right ahead and believe the rightwing talking points, about him having raised taxes. I realize facts mean nothing.

Certainly not by his choice! He's promised nothing but increased taxation and Obamacare is a tax on ALL Americans.

Obama's idea of a tax break is defunding Social Security and Medicare by reducing payroll taxes, the ONLY form of funding for both! Really smart, that brilliant Obama!

Only a few of the tax changes in the new health care law will fall on families making under $250,000 a year, or individuals making less than $200,000. The truth is that Obama has lowered taxes for all workers through a 2 percentage point reduction in the Social Security payroll tax that started in 2011 and is scheduled to continue through the end of 2012. The cut is equal to $1,000 this year for a worker making $50,000 a year — or as much as $2,202 to any worker earning at least the maximum taxable level of wages or salary ($110,100 for 2012).

Obama had previously signed a tax cut that benefited nearly all working families and was in effect from 2009 through 2010. The “Making Work Pay” tax credit was part of the stimulus bill he signed shortly after taking office.

That credit was worth a maximum of $400 per person, or $800 for couples during those years. It phased out at higher income levels, and so its benefit went entirely to individuals making less than $95,000 a year, or couples making less than $190,000. The White House figures it went to “95 percent of working families.” And even allowing for those who are retired or unemployed, it benefited more than 75 percent of all individuals and families, working or not, according to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center.

Okay, you're making my point. How is Medicare and Social Security funded but through payroll taxes? You're cutting funding for both of them!

Making work pay was a Bush tax cut, Obama just extended it!

I do agree that there is some concern about the lack of funding for SS. I hope it was just meant as a stimulus in a time of need, but realize it's going to be difficult to take away, when it's due to expire.

Here's 3 things, but I could list dozens more. You can simply google it if you'd like to see the EXTENSIVE list. But once again, don't let facts get in the way of your hatred:

Created White House Task Force on Middle Class Working Families, which aims to expand education and lifelong training opportunities, improve work and family balance, and restore labor standards, including workplace safety. It also lists helping to protect middle-class and working-family incomes and protecting retirement security among its other goals.

Took steps to lower the interest rates on student loans and make college more affordable, and continues to push the Stop the Rate Hike Act of 2012, which would stop the loan percent interest rate from doubling to 6.8 for more than 7 million students and former students with Stafford loans.

Instituted mortgage relief for families in danger of losing their homes through no fault of their own. Recently, long-term mortgage rates have fallen to the lowest they have been since the 1950's, helping to drive a modest recovery in the housing market.

It doesn't really matter what he does. The simple fact is that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. For everything good, there's something bad. You, and the rest of the rightwingers, will always find the bad. If he solved world hunger, you'd say he's discriminating against fat people. He can do no right in your eyes.
