Why Are The Democrats Featuring Muslim Extremists At Their Convention?

Why are the Democrats featuring several Muslim factions at the event? I
believe there are factions in the Democratic Party hierarchy who if left
unchallenged want to convert the Democratic Party into the Party of
Malcontents. Democrats are intent on focusing on Islam as part of their
party’s upcoming national convention with an event called “Jumah at the
2012 DNC.” Even though there is no rhyme or reason to it, the Democratic
National Convention will open with a focus on Islam. 20,000 Muslims are
expected to attend in various capacities, according to the Bureau of
Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA). The national Muslim-American
non-profit organization is coordinating the two days of events they
claim are non-political. Whether they are political or not, the
homosexual lobby should be aware of their beliefs. Then the Democrats
went so far as to snub the offer of Cardinal Dolan, who volunteered to
say a prayer at the opening. I am sure that Cardinal Dolan felt that
regardless of the party’s platform, God would want to forgive them for
what they propose to do.

their culture is NOT...and will never be...Sharia Law will never be a part of this country, but they will fight to get it in here...

i beg to differ with you...We Americans have OUR OWN culture. It might be interwoven with ours.....but we will NEVER accept Islam with Sharia Law attached....NEVER

Islam and Shariah Law are different things.

Note that we already accept all aspects of Shariah Law that are consistent with federal and state law. Consider that Shariah has many pillars...in one, there are dietary restrictions that many practice under Shariah Law now in the U.S....completely consistent with freedom of religion.

maybe by your standards you accept them...but I don't...and I don't care what federal and state judges say so... Freedom of religion is also very different from freedom from religion..and I will not comply with Islam...or sharia law

By legal standards, they are accepted. When someone demands that you do comply with Shariah Law in the government, that's where our Constitution prevents intrusion of religious into secular law.

So there is no real concern.

How has Obama trampled the Constitution?

for starters, I believe that obamacare is unconstitutional....and there is plenty more...

The founders deemed most important in our Constitution – economic and religious liberty, limited government, and accountability to the people. Its overturn would be a powerful affirmation that the rule of law still matters in this country, giving us renewed hope that the Supreme Court will correct other longstanding pro-abortion affronts to the Constitution.

I think that it's reasonable to argue that Obamacare is unconstitutional...however, it's an issue that reasonable minds disagree about. Considering that the Supreme Court determined the Congress had the power to enact something like Obamacare, using it as an example of "trampling" on the Constitution is remarkably drastic.

As a side note: I find Obamacare troubling mostly because I think that it is, as I believe you do, NOT something that should be handled by the fed...I do believe, however, that it's more of an administrative argument as I think it should be handled by the states.
