Here's a question for Obama. If during his first three and a half years in office, knowing that he would be facing reelection, he did nothing to create a business atmosphere that was conducive to stimulating the economy, what makes him think we will believe the economy and jobs are on his agenda for a second term?
He can boast that he created 4.5 million jobs (the majority of which were low paying, non-professional jobs), but the devil is in the details. That there were 4.5 million jobs created is true, but it is also true that he cost us 5 million jobs and that results in a net loss of 500,000 jobs to go along with an unemployment rate that is in reality 11-plus percent.
Obama had an opportunity to focus on jobs and the economy. His party had veto-proof majorities in both houses of Congress, but instead he nationalized healthcare, the automobile industry and banks. Now he wants us to believe he will create jobs and fix the economy.
Specific to that point he cannot fix the economy by raising taxes and increasing the debt while gutting the military.
The truth is -- Obama has no intention of creating a favorable business climate. His idea of austerity cuts extend only to gutting the military. In his first term he succeeded in increasing the national debt by over $5 trillion; he was successful in 23 million people going unemployed, and he successfully increased the number of people on food-stamps to 48 million. In his first term we saw gas prices double and correspondingly food and consumer goods rise in price exponentially. We witnessed him lie about healthcare and we watched his wife flaunt herself like the Chicago version of "Honey Boo-Boo," but with less class and less integrity.
With all of that and more in his rearview mirror, just think what he can do if he gets a second term. After his first term we have one-in-7 people on food-stamps and one-in-6 people receiving government aide. I don't think that's the American dream people want for their children.

You have to be a damned fool to think things will improve under Obama in the ...

But I'd wager that the salaries of Government will continue to rise.
