NY 23 reveals that the social conservative anti-abortionists have grown away from the historic GOP which they derisively label us as RINO's. Is it time to end the coalition with socially repressed south bigots and find a new coalition of moderates to stand both against creeping socialism and creepy social bigotry?

With the two Governor wins, and NY-23, the GOP has all the information it needs to plan for the future.

Whether or not the Republicans use that information wisely, and join the adults in working for America, only the next three years will tell.

Take a good look at this guy people. Remember this tactic. they've been using it since it worked with Ross (if u even remember) Perot. The Republican Party can't beat the Obama money machine on it's own. They will definitely need moderates and Independents to stay competitive in the race against the liberal agenda. Let's hope they listen to reason before it's too late. Can you imagine the damage Obama will do with a second term? He's just tip toeing around it in this first term.

Moderates and independents in the Republican Party and elsewhere will weigh the risks and benefits of both sides - the Dems and the Social Conservatives. Bush did his greatest harm in term one, so did Johnson (who had JFK's time too). Obama's worst will be over after this term. What's done is done.

Republican moderates will look to the future. Obviously we don't feel the need to cave into hysterical anti-social behavior and litmus-testing. That is the GOOD NEWS here.

But we need to find a leader first. My guess is, we will.
