    Yes I would.

I already use Ubuntu Linux as it is..... but for something dealing with politics I think it should be pointed out that a lightweight desktop environment like xfce for that matter everything probably should be as lightweight as possible

I was probably going to go that route; I'm not quite sure yet. I'll obviously be using a base distro to start; I'm too lazy to roll my own distro out from scratch.

I really wouldn't call it very lazy since most flavors of Linux are based on another these days

True. I have a pretty good idea on which two choices I'm going to select from. I kind of want to have classes on how to properly use such a distro as well. I want a person using such a powerful tool to have full knowledge of how to use it properly.

while classes would be good its also where good documentation is needed too since people learn differently

That's true; it's just that I'd be producing a rather powerful tool given the amount of network software as well as political information stored in the distro. I'd rather not have people misuse it.

We have enough idiot script kiddies out there already.

    that's understandable

I wouldn't know for sure on the script thing since I haven't looked much into scripts for programming except a little bit of java

oh you may want to edit the comment because of "I'd rather not have people not misuse it."
