A Lesson In Irony

Evil 1 2012/07/04 13:53:50

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S.Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us to "
Please Do Not Feed the Animals."

Their stated reason for the policy is because the animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.

This ends today's lesson.

Tell that to people who are low income who WORK and still can't buy food. If you haven't walked in their shoes, don't judge.

And if they truly need the assisstance I have no problem providing it to them. The ones that are scamming the system and are capable of taking care of themselves but are just to lazy to do so is the problem. And they have become dependent on the Government. So the lesson in irony is directed at them. The problem is they don't realize that the politicians in Washington want them to be dependent on them, then they can control them. It's just those who are scamming are to dense to realize what is really going on.

Yep. They make the rest of those who are poor because of no fault of their own look this way when they're not. People assume that because many screw the system that ALL screw the system. The people who don't screw the system can't get squat when they need it. But have a woman who is 600 pounds and eats potato chips all day while watching soaps walks into the human services offices and BAM, she gets everything. And if you are a race other than white you will get it no questions asked. The whole system is screwed up. People who are low income who are working shouldn't have to worry about affording healthcare and basics like food clothes and shelter. In this country NOBODY should have to worry about that. But many do.
