A Down Economy Getting Worse? Will the Obama Economy Descend into Recession?

Drought in west causing corn to go up, gas is rising daily, groceries rising daily, unemployment is still over 8%, wealthy are dwindling and you are wondering if the Obamas economy will descent into a recession? We are in a recession heading toward a depression.

I think it will. I just hope its before the election so his tail gets kicked out as opposed to happening after the election.

The economy will stagger in a slight downward spiral due to the effect of the trillion spent on the stimulus but when the inflation from that fatal mistake takes place, the recession of the thirties will seem like boom times in comparison. obumbo must go.

While GDP suggests we are not technicallyion recession we are right on the edge and NOTHING this administration has done or proposes will change this. We need to try someone new.

We are indeed in a recession now. Never in my life have things looked like this.

We have BEEN IN A DEPRESSION since shortly after the one took office... his administration cooks the books to hide the truth... anyone with eyes to see knows it's bad and getting worse.

Although it appears to be the popular answer here... we never got out of the recession that was started by the Pelosi/Ried 110th Congress in 2007!

The Obama administration's juggling of numbers and creative accounting that they initiated in 2009 was designed to mask the fact that we not only did not get out of the recession, but because of the continued mismanagement of both the democrat controlled Congress and the occupant of our White House, thing are in reality worse.

The best barometer of how things are is the reality of going to the grocery store and seeing the large number of your neighbors using food stamps, driving around your County (as I do) seeing Businesses that have closed and foreclosure signs in front of homes (whose families have lived there for years), or going to a fast food restaurant and the man taking your order two years prier was an Engineer at one of the local Plants that was forced to shut down.

In all my 66 years, I have never witnessed such a disastrous economy, and that includes the Carter years. Yet there are totally “zombieized” (for lack of a better description) people who pull out all of the metrics and figures and claim that Obama has saved us all from disaster... Maybe they should get out of their basements more!

Until everyone is on Food Stamps and Unemployment, Obama can't deliver the 'fairness' and redistribution he craves, but that craven approach leads to 1 important job loss - his.

What Obama's followers, mostly "Welfare recipients", don't understand is that SOMEONE has to work and nurture that MONEY TREE for it to continue growing. What Obama is doing is killing all of those nutrients, Called jobs, needed, to keep the MONEY TREE Healthy!!!
