A Christian Conservative SodaHead friend asserts that since “Secular law prohibits slavery, genocide, etc., divine law has to emphasize moral deviation such as homosexuality and masturbation.” Do you agree?

Yes, I agree with Christian Conservatives that “divine law has to emphasize moral deviations such as homosexuality and masturbation”
No, I disagree with Christian Conservatives that “divine law has to emphasize moral deviations such as homosexuality and masturbation”
Contrary to what Yahweh, Allah and their followers believe, homosexuality and masturbation are not moral deviations
I have another idea

Since that is my quote, let me explain my position. From my Profile:
    Interests and Likes
    About me:
I am a Christian Conservative. I joined Sodahead to combat the pernicious Homosexual Agenda of trying to force everyone to believe homosexuality is normal and acceptable and to silence those who speak up for morality and decency and who try to protect the traditional family from attack.
    Favorite Books:
The movements in our society opposed to Christianity have organized a drive to silence Christians and promote their various causes, such as promoting homosexual privilege and preferential treatment, promoting scientific views undermining belief in Christian scripture and destroying the traditional family.

There are two books everyone needs to read to understand this savage attack on freedom of speech for Christians. First is:
Persecution: How Liberals Are Waging War Against Christianity
    by David Limbaugh
    http://books.google.com/books...
"In Persecution you'll enter the hotly contested battle for the soul of our public schools. Here are appalling - but true - stories of how anti-Christian social engineers not only prohibit school prayer and forbid students from wearing Christian symbols, like a simple cross, but even expunge the real story of Christianity in America from history text...

"In Persecution you'll enter the hotly contested battle for the soul of our public schools. Here are appalling - but true - stories of how anti-Christian social engineers not only prohibit school prayer and forbid students from wearing Christian symbols, like a simple cross, but even expunge the real story of Christianity in America from history textbooks. Worse still, in the name of "diversity," "tolerance," "multiculturalism," and "sex education," the social engineers actively inculcate hatred of Christianity as ignorant, repressive, and offensive. Not exactly the agenda of most parents whose tax dollars support the public schools." "Looking honestly at the dominant influence of Christianity in America's colonial culture and schools, where the Bible was routinely used as a textbook, Limbaugh makes a compelling case that the education students receive today is not what the Founders would have endorsed. Indeed, they would have been outraged at what is taught - and what the courts say - in their name, under the pretext of the non-constitutional and woefully misunderstood phrase "separation of church and state.""--BOOK JACKET.

    The second book is:
The Homosexual Agenda: Exposing the Principal Threat to Religious Freedom Today
by Alan Sears and Craig Osten
    http://books.google.com/books...
"Authors Alan Sears and Craig Osten expose the goals of the homosexual movement and its rising legal activism. The homosexual agenda has as its primary aim to "trump" the rights of all other groups, especially those of people of faith. The saddest part of the story is that it is working. In 1988, 74.9 percent of the American public thought that sex between two people of the same gender was always wrong. By 1998, the percentage had fallen to 54.6 percent. Sears and Osten provide well-documented proof that America; is not only becoming more tolerant of homosexuality, through the indoctrination of children, positive exposure on TV, and the support and approval of corporate America, it is becoming less tolerant of those who disagree." - Google Books

    Answer to cult question:
All religions except for Christians who accept Jesus as their personal savior, accept the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, and renounce homosexuality, pedophilia and bestiality as evil sins are cults.

Answer to what does God want:
God wants people to believe in Him, to accepts Jesus as their personal savior, to believe in the Holy Bible as the inerrant word of God, and to love God, pray to Him and worship Him. If you do this, you will want to do your share to advance the cause of God, and support His churches. Also, one should disassociate themselves from heretical, blasphemous cults like the Roman Catholic Church, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons ("Latter Day Saints") and Moonies ("Unification Church").
