So young and knowing so many. She did a nice job of telling the tale.

I must mention something that is out of sorts for my political leanings: Joe Biden gave a speech on Memorial day that was Touching and incredibly moving. As a man that suffered great loss, and the way he used that experience to lend help and support to the folks from TAPS was rewarding.

I still would never vote for him, but he is a real man.

Thanks for sharing this vid, Cat. It is an honor to share support of our soldiers on this day. One of my favorite soldiers, from childhood on, is Audie Murphy. The most highly decorated soldier of WWII. (By his manner and appearance he seemed like such an unlikely hero.) I am honored to give tribute to all of those who willingly and with honor serve our country. But particularly those who put themselves in harms way. And most specially I give tribute to those who've paid the ultimate price with their lives.

Thank you, Doofie. I've Googled Audie before but these were items I hadn't seen. Tragically he died in a plane crash shortly before his 47th birthday.
