"Many 9/11 conspiracy theories surfaced shortly after the September 11th attacks, some bringing compelling arguments, and some not holding up at all. Theorists believe that the World Trade Center buildings were demolished by bombs, phone calls from the planes were made up, and the former President George W. Bush secretly profited from the attacks."

I went to a Ron Paul rally in my area a while back with a friend. Someone in the back kept shouting that "9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB!!!"

One of the kids next to me just turned around and looked at him incredulously. Me, not wanting to get into any trouble of any sort, said nothing and just kept listening.

The world takes all types. *shakes head* There are also people who think George Bush created and pushed Hurricane Katrina into New Orleans and the affected areas with a built weather machine.

I saw planes (not holograms or alien orbs) hitting the towers on live TV. A lot of people in NY saw the second plane hit live. I'll entertain conversation about who was behind it, but those were planes, and planes can in fact do that kind of damage. They're heavy, moving fast, and filled with volatile material. On a similar question, someone said "It is impossible to fly a jet that heavy at low altitude."

I present a much heavier and larger jet being flown with precision right off the deck:

a group of Saudi Arabian terrorists led by a Sadui Arabian took over and flew the planes- period

GW Bush maanged to constantly remind the US of the attacks long enough to be re-elected.

If you believe that 9/11was an inside White House conspiracy then President Obama is part of the 9/11 conspiracy since he had Bin Laden terminated. Or is he simply just that stupid?

3 planes were hijacked by Al Qaeda and one was shot down incorrectly at Dick Cheney's order. That is the extent of the conspiracy.

I believe terrorists hit us hard, if there were explosives in the buildings who can say their accomplices didn't plant them there. Before long the younger generations will be questioning if it happened at all, like the Holocaust.

Agreed. We got sucker punched on this one, plain and simple. It's dangerously arrogant for people to think that a terrorist couldn't do this without "our help."
