BREITBART.COM reports:
One of the left's sillier temper tantrums is the fight against Voter ID laws. The law simply requires that a voter present a photo ID at the polling place, as a means to verify they are who they say they are. It is almost impossible to navigate daily life without a photo ID, yet the left argues that this burden is uniquely onerous. In their worldview, a person should be able to walk into the voting place, state a name and then vote without any verification the person is, in fact, that name. Fortunately, the American people loudly disagree.

I have to assume that those opposed to voter I.D. Laws merely wish to abet voter fraud, and are probably Democrats. It's their favorite tactic for stealing elections and has the tacit approval of the criminal attorney general Eric Holder.

Where you are being missleading is that they only caught 10 cases.I doubt they even try in big cities like L.A. Boston ,NY,Chicago.

For those who are anti ID, I challenge you to go to your nearest federal court and attempt to get in without showing your ID.
I challenge you to go to an airport and try to get on a plane without showing your ID.
How about going to your statehouse to see your representative without showing your ID??

Are you for real? They check your body for weapons, not your wallet for id, cash and frequent shopper cards! If you call ahead to see your representative, you only have to state your name for your appointment, not your ID. Your assumptions are sad. I even take my dog with me and they don't ask to see his id either! Try doing a little research!

I have to show it when I use my credit card at just about EVERY store I shop. It has to be shown when people are using food stamps/ebt cards at the grocery stores. You need one JUST to get a library card. To say that it will "disenfranchise" voters, is nothing but a line of bull coming from the liberals.

Are you really that shady that you have to show a id each time you use your credit card? I'm not! Maybe you should try shopping somewhere other then your favorite Adult stores to see if you could blend in as a "normal" person! =)

Are you that much of an a$$hole that you would make such a comment? I see by your "liberal" profile(and responses) that you've been on SH since 08, and you are only a level 3! So yes, you must be! It may be that you need to pull your head out of your a$$, and quit being such a jerk! You claim to be Jewish, but I'm willing to bet you're really muslim, and just continuing to give Jews a bad name.

Seems you know a LOT about "adult" stores, something I've seen a LOT of muslim students frequent here, just because it's outlawed in their home countries. Thanks, but no thanks. I'll continue to do most of my shopping at Walmart, you know, the store where you're guilty till proven innocent!

So you come back at this person by calling him/her "only a level 3" (just about the most immature response I've ever seen), then by showing a pathetic, disgusting attitude for one religious group and veneration for another?

You are disgusting and you need to stop acting like a twelve-year-old. Please.

There was a time when I would agree with you 100%, but that was before I bought a Harley. The upkeep is double that of any Jap bike I ever owned. Nearly every time I buy something for my Harley I find "Made in China" on it. Even most of the H-D clothing is imported. I wanted a H-D jacket, but I'm not paying $400 for a leather jacket made in China just because it has a Harley logo on it. I love my Harley, the way it sounds, rides, and looks. I plan to keep it for a long time, but my next bike will probably be a Victory.

No, they are a good idea in theory, but they are not needed and can actually hurt Americans in execution. There are so few cases of actual voter fraud, majority are misunderstandings or incorrectly filled out forms, there is almost no point to these laws existing. In fact, in some cases photo ID would make no difference in catching fraud. The laws, along with others being passed in these states, do more harm than good in the long run and even negatively affect minorities (also college students, the poor, and the elderly). Honestly I question the integrity of the new law. I just do not see a point to laws that make no difference and hurt the voters in the long run.

It makes it more difficult for them to be able to vote. For example, the laws in Wisconsin, Kansas, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Texas require voters to display a government-issued photo ID before voting, but according to the Black Youth Project about 25 percent of African Americans do not possess government-issued photo identification. It would be harder for them to be eligible to vote. Even the federal lawyers in the Justice Department said this in response to Texas new voter ID laws, "We conclude that the total number of registered voters who lack a driver's license or personal identification card issued by DPS could range from 603,892 to 795,955. The disparity between the percentages of Hispanics and non-Hispanics who lack these forms of identification ranges from 46.5 to 120.0 percent."

The administration is working on that one, too. Check ammunition RFQs.

The cost of capture is prohibitive. The cost of prevention is miniscule, plus you don't have incarceration costs, you just send the offender packing with a warning, if the perp even bothers to show up..
