    Tasers don't taze grannies, pussy ass cops taze grannies.

    Tasers are great for taking down suspects in a non-lethal manor. But to taze somebody because they "Argue" with the police, that is just pathetic. And besides, he shoved the lady. How would you react to being shoved by the police in that manor?

    In addition, take ALL firearms away from law enforcement individuals in the local, state and federal levels, for there is not one clause in the armed to the teeth Second Amendment which authorizes them to possess any form of weaponry.

    Until I actually SAW the video I thought omgosh the cop really went WELL-OVER his boundries this time - it's still a little ridiculous because she had her back to him, BUT first he only slightly shoved her because she was getting him and her in the line of traffic and she was VERY COMBATIVE!! She did say "go ahead and tase me .. I dare you" so the cop wasn't too out of line actually.. as she kept saying don't touch me and running away from him so he couldn't really detain her in a normal fashion and anybody else younger girl or guy (especially guy) would have been tased and deserved it as well.. so the cop basically had too.. or one of them could have been seriously injured..or killed in traffic.

    well, i sorta like taking away their vests, tazers and guns not a bad idea they aren't bright enough to use them properly. BTW I never cry when a cop bites the dust.

    That may be so, but it is known that some people have DIED from being tasered! I saw the footage on the news. Its one thing if some psycho is threatening you with harm, that is self-defense, but any other than that doesn't waarant that.

    yeah well they die from being hit by a car too- which the cop was also trying to keep her from and they die from a gun - oh and if he had to throw her down and possibly mess up her hip... hmmm.. not many options huh?? .. he had no choice... and like I say- obey the law & act like a old LADY and you will be treated like a LADY .. why do people take advantage of "FREE Country" it's not free to be a lawbreaking jackass!!     Wow. A fiesty ole 72 year old and a fat pig four times her size, this is the day when you can no longer argue with those in any form of authority i guess or you will be shot or tazed at the very least. We only see her after the provacation...and yes she was angry SO THE FUCK WHAT??? Next cops funeral there is I hope it's his. I'll go just to laugh.

    What I saw was an cop abusing his power. They are supposed to set an example. Heaven forbid that kids would be required to "respect authority" if they have to follow this guy as an example.

    are the rules different for everyone based on age? if she was 22 ( and still female) would we feel differently? she was wrong and old enough to know better. if he forced her to the ground to handcuff her, she could have broken a hip... would people then say, he should have just tased her?

    Police officers should be allowed to keep tasers but the second tasering when she was on the ground was completely unnecessary even if some idiots think this guy was too weak and she was too great a threat to where he couldn't have forced her into submission. The real question is training as he could have killed the old woman which is why many states have regulations against tasering the elderly.
