I shouldn't even have to explain my stance at all but since this happened I'm afraid I must.

The kid was 7 years old. I HIGHLY doubt the kid was one of those rare cases of kids who give the people around them an actual reason to fear for their lives, or if such cases even exist in the first place. There's absolutely no reason for the kid to get a suspension, except for sheer stupidity.

Really people are you kidding me. I just spent a day with about 30 7 year olders they are in a complete daze about anything remotely PC. Leave the kid alone.

This principal has to be an idiot. When are these schools going to some common sense. Little boys play this way. A second grader doesn't understand these adult stupid rules.

LOL but he is not ...so now the liberal teachers feel they should be able to control thoughts...and pretend play?
Someone made an EXCELENT point there would be no problem with them if he had dressed in a tutu and pretended to be a ballerina....Here I am throwing an imagionary grenade RIGHT....NOW bam...should I be arrested? I am at the dr's office....

Yet most liberals seem to be the FIRST ones to belittle/berate/bully me when I make a comment that they find...stupid...Heck the administrater at my sons school(VERY liberal) told my son he could not wear his camo clothes to school because it is disturbing...then when he questioned why(he is 7!) she became angry and called me to inform me of what had been said and his "beligerent " behavior.
Mind you this was back in Nov. And my son is many things...rude/deligerent is not him. The week before they had awarded him out of the entire school the award for the best behaved and well mannored..
I asked her the same question he had asked and she responded with "It makes everyone uncomfortable"....So she expected him to accept her repremand and did not want any questions...it's not an isolated thing.

Liberals only allow others free speech when they agree with their own ideals....the rest of the time, like FB, the harrass and tell you to shut your mouth or "you're to retard to have an opinion...or to breed so STFU"(I have seen that ALL the time online and some in RL)
So I SEE liberals wanting to have the thought police.

This stupid crap has gotten completely out of control. The American people are building their own prison out of fear and paranoia. And it's swiftly becoming more confining and oppressive than anything the old communist regimes we grew up criticizing were ever capable of.

I know I sometimes freak out about dreams. Weird thing, any dream I've had where a woman I liked or was dating was kissing or embracing another man... always turned out they were interested in some one else, or in a relationship with someone else.

Let me tell you something here.... If pretending to be an American Soldier and pretending to throw and imaginary grenade because it violates the school policy for absolutely no weapons or violence policy..... then wouldn't teaching American History be violating the same policy? wouldn't teaching about war be violating that same school policy? Isn't pretending to have a grenade the same thing as teaching about war through textbooks? How hypocritical can schools get these days? The Schools are quickly stealing the innocence of our children. I guess the old classic plastic soldier toys we all use to play with as children are also now seen as threats to schools? It is our education system that is ruining the innocence of our children these days... not necessarily society in general. The Pledge of allegiance has been taken as well as prayer in schools. Pretending to be an American Hero is frowned upon. So what is it that our children have to look forward to in their future? Are thse are threat to schools too
