61% of Americans Against Democrat’s Nationalized Health Care Bill

61% of Americans are against the democrats health care bill.
CNN reported, via Free Republic
A new CNN/ORC survey finds 61% are against the Senate’s nationalized health care plan, 36% support it. The survey was conducted Dec. 2-3, error margin 3 points.

But it doesn’t matter. They will try to ram it through anyway.

Dick Morris is more optimistic at Big Government and believes the democrats are on the run with their public option plan.

Verum Serum believes the democrats latest plan is a front for something much more ominous.

I found these results very interesting.

If a bill similar to the one that the Senate is considering becomes law, do you think the federal budget deficit would or would not increase?

Would happen: 79%
Would not happen: 19%
No opinion: 2%

If a bill similar to the one that the Senate is considering becomes law, do you think your taxes would or would not increase?

Would happen: 85%
Would not happen: 14%

Oh for heaven's sake! Of course our taxes will go up! We will also receive less actual patient care than we do now.

If we can't stop the passage of this monstrocity, we will have to dismantle it after the next electons cycle, and that will be far harder to do.

Facts are facts. We cannot afford this bill, and if passed, we cannot pay for it.

This is going to destroy the health care industry on all accounts, financially, emotionally and quality wise. It is giving the biggest part of our freedom to the most ignorant, criminal, immoral group of people in this country, which is the federal government.

The problem with these idiotic Democrats is that they feel it’s better to pass a bad bill than to pass no bill at all. And these brainchildren are leading our Country. 2010 can’t come soon enough.

Health care is not a right.[The democary will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give it to those who would not.].

to put it simple health care IS business. Business should NOT be ran by the government ever. Seems as though alot of them cant even get their taxes paid why would anyone trust then to run an entire business?

They still want the Socialized program. The Medicare buy-in is the exact same as Kennedy proposed a few years back. The ultimate goal is that everyone should be on Medicare (which is broke) then everyone would be under strict federal control.
the funny thing is they're wiling to cut funding, but at the same time, increase the demographic. Does this sound like a competent system?
By the way, guess who the author of this comedy is. It's none other than our great friend, Howard Dean, the Breck Boy. OK, you can stop laughing now.

They know very well what they're doing. This is pre-meditated to bring America down so they can move forward with their plan to control everyone and everything.

At least 61% of us have our heads out of our asses, and can see what a disaster this bill would be! If Congress thinks Obamacare is so wonderful, why did they insist on a clause that would exempt themselves from it?

we're not only going to pay higher taxes and receive mediocre health care but we're going to be paying for this four or five years before we receive any benefits. Medicare will be insolvent in 5 years and yet their not only taking 500 million from the account but their adding 20 to 30 new people by putting the age down to 55.

I am for health care reform and getting health care for those who can't afford it or have lost a job. I would also like a plan to ensure no one goes broke from a health care crisis -------------------but this plan is none of this and will downgrade our health care, make for job losses and add the the deficit!

Yes, both taxes & the deficit will go up...THEY have no money to pay for all of these big ideas, even though they're spending everyone elses money like it's going out of style ...who knows maybe it is .. I'm praying that 2010 won't be too late, but they're obviously trying to get all of this crap they're pushing out there before then. Once it's in we'll never get rid of it and it'll only get worse. This is only a front for larger more ominous things coming up ahead. Now they're adding the 55 + group to Medicare. For what reason ? They definitely want to get as many people on government run healthcare of one sort or another as fast as possible.

You nailed it, they want to enlarge the demographics of Medicare, and take away funding which means what??? It means the age group that is most likely to see this administration for what it is will have their necks on the chopping block. I'm sure there will many reasons given for why we can't have that procedure or fon't warrant this one.

No, only we can do that. Get involved with a Tea Party in your neighborhood and join with them in their protests. They are the best hope for getting our message across......besides the 2010 election which may be a little too far away.

Have been to teaparties and that does not seem to do any good. They have heard our message and DO NOT CARE! They are intent on destroying the economy in every way possible and grab control of our lives at the same time.

I understand your frustration, but I recently spent three days calling many, many Senators - both Republican and Democratic - and told them exactly what I thought. I don't expect much out of the dems, but my comment to all the Republicans that I called was that we conservatives need to see strong leadership against this bill NOW, stall it, obstruct it, slow it down somehow. Come up with a plan! That was my message and one that suggested by my Tea Party leadership to give.

Then today, Bernie Sanders proposed an amendment to the Health Care Bill that wouldn have turned it into a single payer plan. There was no chance of it passing. All bill must either be read outloud or the reading recinded. When asked to recind the reading Senator Coburn (R-Ok) objected and asked to have the 776 page bill read. It would have taken 10 hours to read the whole thing. The amendment was eventually pulled from consideration and tied the Senate up for almost 4 hours. I understand the Republicans plan on using this method any time they can. Since our Senators and Congressmen don't seem to think it's important to read something before making it law, I think this is a GREAT thing!!! Dems are calling it obstructionist. Let them.

I believe my phone calls, along with all the others that have been made ...

I believe my phone calls, along with all the others that have been made over the last 72 hours, played a part in the Republicans finally standing up to bullies Palosi, Reid and Obama. They need to hear from you...again and again. We can't quit and we can't get demoralized. Stay involved!

I did call my Senators yesterday and the day before. One(Jim Webb) is on the border line so all the calls we can get through to him is important. It is also important that we call after a visit from Obama to the Senators. You are right that we must stay involved, but it does get discouraging! Thanks for the support, it helps!
