6 young teens savagely beat man because they were 'bored'...?

Throw the punks in jail and try them as adults. Ignorance is no excuse. It is past time that people do the time for the crime. Our judicial system is failing hard working citizens on a daily basis.

The article doesn't say if the kids were white or black but judging by the names I'll bet they're black and the victim is white. I wonder if Obama thinks they could look like his son's?

My point is that since Obama became president there are more black on white crimes than ever before. These kids will get a slap on the wrist & told to be good little kid's just because they're black, they need to spend sometime behind bars.

Hate crimes are just the lefts new way of talking about white vs black crime where the white man is always guilty & the black man is always the victim. This victim mentality is the cause of most of these crimes. People need to realize that they are only victims if they choose to be.

not sure im following you....are you saying that this guy that got jumped and beat down by these "good but bored kids" was not a victim?and do you think he would have been jumped if he were black?...and if it were white kids jumping a black man would it have been considered a hate crime?

He was a victim no doubt, No I don't think he would have been jumped if he was black, And if it were white kids jumping on a black man it would have been called a hate crime cause it doesn't count as a hate crime when it's blacks attacking whites cause only blacks are entitled to hate crimes against them.

actually i dont doubt that these animals wouldnt have jumped him if he were black...most crime against blacks is by other blacks....but the media doesnt want you to hear about that either....the only crime thats news worthy is white on black...even when they stretch the truth...like in the treyvon martin case....zimmerman would have been mexican or latino if he discovered a cure for cancer....but since he killed a black guy....hes white.

These poor boys are the results of parents not paying attention to what their kids are doing, too busy living their lives since the children can be left at home going to bingo. or buying scratch-offs. I guess because they aren't places for them to go to play any kind of ball or swim that is free because the parents can't work so they are on state assistance they can't afford for their kids to belong to a boys club where there is any number of things for the boys to do to keep them brom being "bored", now their lawyers will bring up how deprived these boys are and how they don't have the advantages of others and try to make everyone feel sorry for them, and it wasn't a hate crome if it wasn't why didn't they beat a black man?
I looked this place up and I think the kids are spoiled beast that need a beating them selves and well as their parents, the parents are saying to them now " Do you know how embarrassed I am I'll never be able to show my face at the country club again, What am I going to do do with you?
I say send them all to youth camp then to military schools. And the parents have to pay all the hospital bills and support h the man they beat for the rest of hid life

You know I think there are a few prisoners who are feeling bored....let the punishment fit the crime

This is some crazy world we live in, when teenagers, at the age they are, think they have to beat up on somebody, simply because they were bored. They should be doing time, no matter their age, and their parents will should be paying for this man's medical bills.

I really don't think it was just peer pressure, it is also lack of the parents ability to be a parent. At this age, kids are always impressionable and susceptible to doing the wrong thing, if parents haven't instilled the right thing, and to do the right thing. These parents should be held as much accountable as their kids should be. Like I said these kids should be brought up on charges, and the parents, this guys medical bills.

The gov't knows how to raise your kids better than you do! Just ask 'em they'll tell you. This is what happens when kids are allowed to grow up w/o rules and being held responsible for their actions!

WTF send them back to the place they learned no values to begin with?? send their young asses to a work farm to get some fresh air and hard work that will take some of the boredom out of their lives. I still find it amazing how the laws that were passed years ago are coming back to haunt us. Nowadays if you even look at your kid wrong you are going to jail for child abuse. People want to blame the parents for what the kids are doing. But does anybody look at the fact that some parents are scared to touch their kids for fear of going to jail?

I know my mother wasn't, hell the belt and I were well acquainted by the time I was ten. I would never do this, I couldn't imagine how furious my mother would be. Women terrifies the hell out of me, in a good parent sort of way.

my step father and I had several meetings with his belt. If the laws today were in effect back in the 60s and 70s, My step father would be doing life. What those kids did was just wrong.
