The latest contrived liberal crisis, is a statement from Gov. Romney, discussing the difficulty of getting elected, with a huge number of voters that are dependent on a government, against an opponent that is encouraging and enabling this dependency behavior.

All appears to be fine in the life of Riley, where cell phones, food, and housing are all free, but as responsible individuals we have to ask the question, what happens when the money runs out? It is becoming obvious this is the intent of the Democrat party is to collapse our dollar , but have they considered how they will feed these dependents when they reach their goal?

It appears the democrats have contrived a scheme to perpetually insure their hold onto power by exploiting this dependency behavior, but have they considered consequences when it collapses our dollar?

Excerpts, US Treasurys are "Junk" Dollar Headed for Collaspe: Schiff

The greenback and the U.S. bond market are headed for a collapse as the
U.S. Federal Reserve loses the ability to service the nation’s debt with
“artificially low” interest rates, Peter Schiff, CEO of Euro Pacific
Capital told CNBC on Wednesday.

“And the only reason that the U.S. government can pay the interest on
the debt, and I say ‘pay’ in quotes because we never pay our bills. We
borrow the money so we pretend to pay, but the only reason we can do it
is because the Fed has got interest rates so artificially low.”

Economists everywhere, have been saying that we are headed for a deeper recession in 2013 no matter what happens between now & January and Bernanke has just made the past 3-1/2 years even worse with plans for QE3. This is the 0bozo economy and he OWNS it.

When Barry Soetoro was running in 2008, I said that one of his big goals would be to get 55% of America on goobermint entitlements. He fell a bit short but one would have to thank the TEA Party revolt in 2010 for that.

Romney is 100% correct in his statement and it's too damn bad if it makes the Proglodytes heads explode becase he speaks the truth instead of giving America false hopey-changey BS, constant lies about the true numbers and pathetic state of the Union.

    Here's part of Romney's statement.

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what ....These are people who pay no income tax."

It's always so aggravating when I'm sitting in the salon and I overhear the gals with their new LV or Coach bags and getting their fresh mani and pedi's after they just get back from their welfare appointments.
I personally know many welfare fraud's, the wives of those in various criminal elements all do it so they can show legal "income".

apparently you didn't listen to the discussion in the video submitted. Is their scammer, shifty layabouts? Yes. Is it everyone who gets assistance? No It is a familiar case of " there are 3 people there, look> so everyone on assistance is a bum. Seriously, Not true.

If you noticed it was Nancy Pelosi's daughter which produced the video clip. At no time did she ever say all people on assistance was a bum - you did. Her assertion is too many are bums can work but have no desire to. I, for one, take great pains to not paint everyone with a wide brush - except for liberals/Progressives.

I guess I got lucky, I went to an engineering university, we were too busy studying the tangible rather than focusing on feelings.
Single issue voters should focus on this single issue: the economy! Is that simple enough?
I don't mean to be dismissive but women's contraceptive needs are not even a blip on my radar.

We do not have hyper-inflation... ...yet. It is just a matter of time until we do if we continue down the path we are on. Witness Germany/Weimar Republic from 1920 to 1923. They just continued to print money. Does QE-1, QE-2, and now QE-3 ring a bell? Does intitlement spending, at all levels, ring another bell? What will you do when your bell is rung? And yes, the dollar is headed for a very big fall. It has already tripped.

But you'll never get anyone on the left to believe it. I just finished a lengthy conversation with a good friend of mine who is an extreme liberal. I threw enough facts about obama and his history to bury her yet she wouldn't budge. And as far as she was concerned Romney is Bush 2.0 and will bring back the bad 'ol days never realizing that Clinton started the housing crisis, Congress went on a spending spree starting in '07, no budget for three years, entitlement crapola out the wazooh and over 40 impeachable offenses...she didn't care. obama is the man!

Obama wants to go to the failed polices of the past where socialism has never worked! Bring back the Bush day before the fianacial meltdown which was below 6% unemployment! The finacial meltdown was because of the deregulation of banking mortgage loans which was not a Bush program and he tried to stop it three different times!

Actually, Carter started the housing crisis way back in the seventies with the Community Reinvestment Act. The government started issuing orders to banks to relax their loan requirements. When or if they were fined for non-compliance in the government's wisdom, the monies were turned over to community action groups like Acorn. Neat, huh? Then during Clinton's admin., he shoved the CRA and Fannie Mae hard, hard... The newspaper article back in 1999 even warned that the government might have to do a bailout when times weren't 'flush'.

If you have the time, these articles are really informative and I think you will find them fascinating.

I was already aware of the CRA started in 1977 by Carter. It actually wasn't a bad idea at the time and Reagan and Bush Sr. tightened regulations on it. But when Clinton got a hold of it he did something Democrats are not known for doing, he deregulated it...six times! Add the enforced bank loans and we are now living with the end result. And Bush had nothing to do with it!

What about those that have worked most of their lives and paid taxes??? Seniors? Or they worked for years and all of a sudden they can no longer physically work? Are they just dependent idiots who are lazy? Or those who DO work, but need to take on a second or third job and yet cannot afford food because it comes down to paying rent or food? Obama made it so all had access to health care. Many employers, (Walmart, for one) stopped providing ins or decent ins that came with high premiums, Obama made it so that even if you work and can't afford commercial or private ins, you can opt to buy ins based on a sliding scale fee? Same as food stamps for people, they have to prove income and output and it must be under a certain limit. Housing is more of an issue because you see more illegal immigrants getting help, but it too, can be based off earnings and even then, they are responsible for some part of it. Unfortunately, the system has been abused by those who really don't need it.like having another child every year to stay on Welfare. Some even sell their food stamps for drug money. Some stores indiscriminately allow some to buy cigarettes! This is the real drain, the abuse of it! There are people out there, who despite all efforts, cannot not work due to severe physical or mental ...

Many seniors can't even afford their medications because their retirement income is so low. It's also believed that making health care affordable to all saves money on the long range by preventing major health issues as a result of not being able to afford health care, and then waiting until it becomes a life and death issues, which then costs tax payers a ton more money!

I think someone is giving you the run around. SSI will pay back benefits from the DATE OF APPLICATION (not date of disability) allowing for the time you wait while they process the claim. SSDI will pay back benefits up to 1 year prior to the date of application if it can be proven that the disability began 1 year prior. All information I find and have been given by Social Security indicates that your husband should receive back pay from the date of his application. Don't let them jerk you around....plenty of SSI publications for you to cite and require them to pay the back pay from the date of your husbands application.

There's a reason they arent telling you then..probably a B.S. reason but according to their rules they back pay retroactive SSI from the date of your application. I am going through the process now. Big long list of birth defects caused by CP / encephalopathy but I went ahead and did the best I could for the past 35 years paying into SS. I actually started paying into SS when I was 15 and had SS wages reported for that year after I had spent 5 months in the hospital having all kinds of foot surgery. Still waiting for a decision and expect to get the run around as everyone else does.

ssi is the welfare side he gets ssd ssi even people that never held a job can get ssd you had to work for and you dont get anything for 6 months get first check 8th month so the reason is we arent on the welfare side of social security

Well, I know people who received their back payments from the day they filed and I can only tell you what the SS website says and what I was old here at our local SS office. I quit working in July and if approved will receive back payments to that date under SSDI. I may get SSI on the interim and they said I would get back pay from thee first of August when I officially went in and started my claim. They also told me that you have to be disabled for 5 months and that if approved my first SSDI check would be in December. I may be falling under some provision because as a kid I would have been considered fully disabled but m parents never filed......don't know. I have read that the way things get handled under SSI varies by states so there may be the difference.

I went through the process with my ex wife in 1995 and my best friend 8 years ago had his hand crushed, got cancer, and had a long history of other qualifying stomach conditions. They both got back pay and my best friend was qualified and paid within 3 months.
