2,527 DHS Employees and Co-Conspirators Convicted of Crimes?

~ The Rebel ~ 2012/08/21 19:00:06
There have been 2,527 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) employees and co-conspirators convicted of corruption and other criminal misconduct since 2004, according to a federal auditor.

Charles Edwards, the acting inspector general (IG) at DHS, made that revelation in written testimony prepared for an Aug. 1 hearing held by the House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Government Organization, Efficiency, and Financial Management.

In his remarks, Edwards added that as of July 15, the DHS OIG (Office of the Inspector General) was dealing with 1,591 open criminal cases involving DHS employees and some accomplices.

No one should be surprised here. This entire country is being oppressed by criminals. Congress being some of the most guilty in the bunch. Now put a usurper in the WH, and the picture is complete.

"Political parties exist to secure responsible government and to execute the will of the people. From these great tasks both of the old parties have turned aside. Instead of instruments to promote the general welfare they have become the tools of corrupt interests, which use them impartially to serve their selfish purposes. Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics, is the first task of the statesmanship of the day. " - Theodore Roosevelt

Criminals being in charge of our security? Nothing really new, is it? We ARE Ruled -- that's what GOVERN means, for gosh sake. It need not be thus; governments are merely a very bad habit.

You wonder if they get the job done that they are intended to do, it seems they are part of the overall problem. A BLIND eye watching our safety. As Americans don't we deserve better? And aren't we paying for this in the long run?
