justin filthy liberal scum rosario claims Conservatives believe: "The Founding Fathers were generally religious, gun-toting small government fanatics who were so far to the Right that they’d make Ann Coulter look like Jimmy Carter."
Why would folks that did any research conclude such a thing?

Well, they were anti-gun weren't they?
“Let your gun be your constant companion on your walks. This gives exercise to the body and independence to the mind. No free man shall ever be de-barred the use of arms.” ---- Thomas Jefferson
See, people back then, and really up until about the mid 1900s believed that you had duty to protect yourself and your loved ones.
Then the cowardly started trusting their lives and the lives of their loved ones to "the kindness of strangers" (the police), never realizing that law enforcement HAS NO DUTY TO PROTECT INDIVIDUALS.
“Law enforcement agencies and personnel have no duty to protect individuals from the criminal acts of others.” -Lynch vs North Carolina Department of Justice 1989
This means that if you want protection from violent crime, for you and your loved ones; it’s up to YOU and YOU ALONE to provide it.
But justin filthy liberal scum rosario needs to think about this, in his heart of hearts: Why should a cop risk his life to save something so insignificant (your life or the lives of your loved ones), that even the owner is unwilling to protect it?
"The original intent of the Founders was that slavery was just fine, black people counted as only 3/5 of a man and women couldn’t vote at all."
And justin filthy liberal scum rosario wore diapers! HELLO! This is TODAY and things change. (You DON'T still wear diapers do you? My apologies if you do.) Remember AMENDMENTS to the Constitution to correct wrongs?
Women not being allowed to vote was very common in that time, as it is in many countries TODAY. Black men were allowed to vote before women were.
Again, "This is TODAY and things change, remember AMENDMENTS to the Constitution to correct wrongs?"
As for slavery.
Slavery was an accepted practice of that time, dating back before recorded history, there was never a time prior that slavery wasn't practiced, even the American slaves themselves were bought from fellow Africans slave owners, just as slaves are available for purchase in Africa today.
The 3/5th was the North's idea, so that the South wouldn't be able to use its large population of Blacks to support Southern ideas and receive fair representation of political power. (Unfair representation was one of the issues of the war called the Civil War.)
Progressive/Liberals believe in slavery today, oh they don't call it that. They put a pretty name on it so that it's more palatable, but "a rose by any other name . . ."
What is slavery really? Most would consider slavery the forced labor of one that labors/produces that has the benefits produced by their labor, taken away and give to a second party that has done nothing to produce that benefit or gives the producer something in return for their labor.
If I were legally forced, at the crack of a whip or point of a gun to plow and plant and harvest your fields 8 hours or more a day, then give you all the proceeds of what I produced; would that be slavery? Most would agree that it was.
Most people would consider it slavery, even if I was forced to work MY OWN LAND, if I were legally forced, at the crack of a whip or point of a gun to plow and plant and harvest fields on MY OWN LAND 8 hours or more a day, then give you all the proceeds of what I produced.
Would it be slavery if I were allowed to keep a part of what I produced, but the rest was taken at gunpoint for another that gives me nothing in return?
Like the 47% who pay nothing, while demanding that "The Rich", be forced at the point of a gun, to "Pay their fair share!"
justin filthy liberal scum rosario states: "They also thought leeches could cure illness. Does that mean we should stop advancing medicine or building on their ideas for a better future? I’ll keep this mind the next time some gibbering buffoon demands that “original intent” be the only guide for interpreting the Constitution."
Pretty smug comment considering that most Liberals, TODAY, believe in the equivalent of "if a pretty girl kisses a frog, it will turn into a handsome prince!" only they call it "Evolution". It goes like this: "sterile sludge, will turn into living micro organisms, which will change into an amphibian, which will change into a reptile, which will change into mammals, which will change into a primate, which will change into a man! But instead of a kiss, it only takes time!
Operating within the boundaries of a legal document, has nothing to do with other factors not related to that document. (What about medicine and leeches is covered by the Constitution in any way? What COULDN'T be covered under STATE laws?)
However, leeches are currently used in modern medicine.
The Constitution is a SIGNED LEGAL CONTRACT, just like any signed legal document , it means what it says, not just what one party wants it to mean at the time or later. (You did know the Constitution was a signed legal document, didn't you?)
As with most signed legal document, there are ways to CHANGE the document: Amendments.
To simplify: If you bought a car from me and signed a legal contract were you were to pay me $300 a month for 5 years; I couldn't simply say "Hey dude! I should be getting $600 a month, 'cause I want more stuff!" and you be forced to pay it.
A signed legal document must mean what it states, or it's not worth the paper or parchment it's written on.
justin filthy liberal scum rosario states: "As for “small government?” Pure ignorance. They had laws dictating what kind of public behavior was acceptable and what size barrel could be used to transport food stuffs. Small government? Don’t make me laugh."
Do you even realize, that almost all if not all of that, was covered under the laws of the STATES and NOT the Federal Government until about the 1900s?
No of course not.
More later, when I have time to waste on justin filthy liberal scum rosario's ignorant drivel.

THIS IS NOT TRUE, AND FURTHERMORE, YOU KNOW IT....THE THREE-FIFTHS CLAUSE WAS CLEARLY DESIGNED TO LIMIT THE POLITICAL POWER AND LEGISLATIVE INFLUENCE OF THE SLAVE STATES. IT WAS TO COUNT EVERY FIVE SLAVES AS THREE, THUS "THREE FIFTHS" (60%) OF THE SLAVE POPULATION WOULD BE COUNTED FOR REPRESENTATIONAL PURPOSES. IT HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VALUE OF A HUMAN BEING AND TO INFER OTHERWISE IS IGNORANCE AT BEST OR, AT WORST, BLATANT HYPOCRISY. YOU TRY TO STEER THE UNEDUCATED TO DEVISIVENESS....SHAME ON YOU FOR YOUR SOUR AGENDA! SHAME!
Found one of my "Oldie but Goodie"polls, GB? I hope all is well with you. :-)
I'm still working on our first conversation, been all over the place this last week. Had to go to the State Capitol yesterday, was a very long day. Grounded in BR due to bad weather for about 4 hours, put me home about 2 am. I'm looking for the IV rig for the coffee.....LOL
Everything's great, how about yourself?
State Capitol business? Yikes! I shudder the thought!
See you on the Tennis Court, GB! Best to ya!
At least the author of this hack list of distortions and cheap shots made one personally honest statement:
"hah…ahahah…ahahahahahha…bwah...
Yes, I know you're running on insanity. Thank you for confirming it.

2. I voted democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

9. I voted democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never gert their agendas past the voters.
10. I voted democat because I think that it's better to pay billions to people who hate us for their oil, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle, gopher or fish.

The ratification process of the FOUNDERS orginal intent document is what created the watered down version we ended with and still we managed to FIX all those issues it simply took 87 seven years which considering teh divid really wasn't very long. France who modled their constitution after ours still hasn't fix all its problems. and its been 200 years
I didn't take the time to read all this bull---t. If your quoting the bible then I know it's all bull---t. It's time to understand what you are actually reading. I can see if you posted what you are reading, you don't understand what you are reading. You need a view other than religious to understand what is before you. Write me and discuss with me your understanding of what who are, in fact, reading. Bye: Adam Troy
Liberals have a control issue. If they see something wrong they can't help but do something about it. I guess its human nature but if they only could just understand that leaving man to rule one self is the only way to achieve complete freedom. I know its hard to leave people alone but that's what America is all about.
