12 Years Old Boy's Letter to GOP Candidate Romney

deBrice 2012/09/19 15:01:06
I have no proof that this letter isn't a fake.

Whether you agree or not, it's not really the point here. I'm just positively shocked by this letter from a young 12 years old boy who decided to take action into the political race.
Dear Governor Romney,
I’d like to say congratulations on winning the republican nomination. But, I wish you stayed in Massachusetts. You’re plan for America isn’t what we need, and would hurt us more than it would help.

First, repealing Obama care and other health plans he’s put in place have helped families across America, including mine. I live in a middle class family, and two years ago my little sister; Kennedy was denied insurance because of her pre-existing condition. This was a huge emotional stress and financial burden on my entire family. Under Obama Care, insurance companies can no longer deny Kennedy and kids like her, the coverage they need and deserve. Because of Obama care my little sister was able to have the several surgeries she needed that helped save her life. Once the President was elected he put Obama Care into action, just like he promised and made it so that you could get insurance with pre-existing conditions. This has made a direct impact on my family. My family is with out a doubt better off now, than we were four years ago!

It is to my understanding that you stated that you were going to repeal Obama Care, including the part I have mentioned, which will take away the insurance we have and need for my sister Kennedy. Why do you think she doesn’t deserve health care? Also, when you were interviewed on “Meet the Press”, you stated that you would NOT repeal this part of Obama Care, but then your campaign backpedalled and on the “Tonight show with Jay Leno”, you said that you WOULD repeal this.

Also, you’re domestic plans (birth control, gay rights etc.) are horrible! Women should get to manage their own health, and if you wonder why you’re not appealing to many women voters, rethink your birth control and women’s’ rights plans. And people should be able to marry whom they want. We built this country so people could have freedom, and not have religious beliefs control them to that length. This country was in no way built on any religion, so we should not create laws that repress the American people in a religious way and hurt our most vulnerable.

Sincerely,
Jackson Ripley, age 12
You!

Nice try, but it's pretty obvious from the language of the letter that the 12-year-old's real name is David Axelrod.

("my sister Kennedy" - LOL, priceless! But wait - is that her *first* or *last* name?)

Many of the comments here are disgusting. I don' t know if its a genuine letter or not -- but I do agree that the points made are genuine and certainly heartfelt by a lot of people and I certainly disagree that there is anything wrong with the reasoning. If it is a 12 year old (and I wrote political letters at 12) then I am very proud of him.

Doesn't sound like no 12 year old. Most kids write about someone they know or a personell experience. This has none.

Here are so facts for the 12 year old to chew on:
    ]
"The per person Medicare Insurance Premium will increase from the present
Monthly Fee of $96.40, rising to:
    $104.20 in 2012
    $120.20 in 2013
    And
    $247.00 in 2014."
in other words for a couple of seniors ..you will be paying only $6.00 less than FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR MEDICARE UNDER OBAMA... $494.00..
not sure about you but I sure can't afford that.
These are Provisions incorporated in the Obamacare Legislation, purposely delayed so as not to confuse the 2012 Re-Election Campaigns. Send this to all Seniors that you know, so they will know who's throwing them under the bus.

Interesting, this alleged 12 year old states that his sister was "denied health insurance." But it doesn't say that she was ever denied health CARE. The two things are different - and this is a pretty critical point. Also, if the writer believes that women should get to "manage their own health," then that contradicts the idea that Romney should keep Obama Care as law. Obamacare takes both the right and the responsibility for health care OUT of the hands of the individual and puts it into the hands of the government gatekeepers who will determine whether or not you should receive a particular treatment (remember, Obama said that "science" would determine this, so no, your 80-year-old mother would NOT get a heart transplant, she should just "take a pill.") As to the gay marriage allusion, even gay people understand that the reason the left wants to call same sex unions "marriage" is to undermine religion. The only blessing here is that eventually, 12-year-olds grow up. Liberals never do.

I HIGHLY doubt a 12 yr old wrote this letter...12 yr olds don't say things like "domestic plans", "backpedaled", "financial distress". This letter compared to the other one I saw floating around here from a supposed 12 yr old to BO talking about her mother's 12 abortions, wanting him to legalize pot so his mom will quit getting arrested was so poorly written that you would think a 5 yr old wrote it. That "kid" couldn't even spell the word "good" correctly. Neither are legit and both were a waste of time to read.

BTW, if you use "Obama" when you mean to write it, your post would be more relevant to Google search engine and bring your message to more people. Otherwise, people would only get a chance to read your comment/opinion when searching for "oscumbag".

I read your profile so I guessed that you might be a little bit on the slow side. Anything but praise for your savior would be offensive to you. Kinda like saying muzzy to islamists really not much difference when you think about it. I really do not care about posting google or whether or not you are offended by the truth.

Wow...those who say so much, but know so little, amaze me. Easy for this kid (most likely an odumbo comrade) to be pro odumbocare while thinking rationing and death squads for seniors is okay; thinking bankrupting the country is fine; destroying free enterprise is the thing to do; turning us into a communist, Muslim, racist nation is just peachy. If the writer truly is a twelve year old, I suggest he grow up, comprehend history, and try to fathom the nuances of economics. If your name is Axelrod, as suggested, just can the BS and crawl back under your rock.

I have to believe that a twelve year old's insights are too advanced for most obama voters to grasp, and much too myopic for the rest of us to consider relevant!

No 12 year old kid wrote this letter. An adult, a very left leaning adult, and an adult with a craven agenda wrote this letter. Possibly Bill Ayers? Maybe David Axelrod? Could be any one of O's "czars" - they all seem to be equally endowed with terrorist genes, and an INTENSE desire to control others.

This post was not even a good attempt. "D" for ingenuity.
