I love archeology and seeing how little humanity has really changed except for it's technology.

So? West Virgnia has older "ruins", still inhabited by the same family. We have some

    copper pans about that old.

Humanity is a race with amnesia. It'd be VERY interesting to know the whole truth of our past.

Scuse what is your theiry on that. There seems to be a lot of information left out from the Bible to Noah and several others. I'd say 8000 years fits right in

Nonsense. The Bible starts out saying that the earth was made into a worthless desert. The English translation got that wrong some 400 years ago. What did SCIENCE think of the earth 400 years ago?

It looks like the ancient city of Petra, but they only go back to 1500 BC.

I find these kind of discoveries interesting. I like history (science and astronomy too). But I am certainly no expert of any kind. It's just interesting to see how people lived back then, what technology did they have, what caused them to abandon the settlement, what was different and what was the same as now etc. Is there an article I could link to?
