I keep hearing the leftsts saying that he's not centrist enough, but we've tried centrists and they were a flop. I think this fiscal conservative is a great choice.

I think Paul Ryan will be a GREAT Running Mate For Mr Romney. Another person with NO Skeletons in the closet. It will drive Obama and his minions crazy trying to find things against him. Obama is WORTHLESS in his campaign tactics. He is losing and he knows he is losing. And ALL the scumbag can do is attack, attack, attack!!! But then, that is what he has been doing to American Citizens since he got in office!!! Attack, attack, attack!!!

About the best that could have been expected from Mittens. Ryan is there as a sop to the fiscally conservative wing that think Romney himself is an insulting joke. As a bonus, this way the establishment gets a chance to pull Ryan out of a position where he's actually somewhat effective in opposing tax-and-spend, and put him in a position of relative innocuousness: VP.

    It was a great pick.
Ryan knows the issues and they will now be brought front and center.
He will put forth the true figures of the state of the economy. Now..the left must come up with answers.
Romney is a smart man..he knew what he was doing by bringing in another smart man!
    Good team.

I wanted to attend the rally but the line of cars was about 2 miles long nearly 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time for the event. When I saw that, I turned around and went back home. Later on at home, I saw the whole thing on TV. And when I saw Romney and Ryan make their entrance, I was impressed with the sense that I was witnessing a very significant and wonderful historic moment.

Not particularly, Ryan seems to be just another right wing fanatic more concerned with social issues, controlling a woman's rights, reducing social security and medicare on seniors, and looking to start more wars with Iran or any other middle east country that he feels threatened by.

Honor Flight. Are you familiar with them? They fly WWII vets out to DC to visit the WWII memorial at no expense to the vets. This was the world premiere for the movie. There were over 1,000 WWII vets at this event. I was a volunteer spending a good 10 hrs pushing disabled WWII vets around in wheelchairs and assisting them as needed. It was an emotionally and physically exhausting day (almost 11 hrs total), but well worth it. It'll explain it better than I can on the facebook page.

Obama and the rest of the Democrats cannot drain the Treasury fast enough; they have proven to be the poorest stewards of ‘the peoples’ money, in the history of this nation. Anyone with a nanogram of fiscal sense would know Obama, Reid and the rest of the fiscally irresponsible twits (on both sides of the isle, primarily the left) need to go. At this juncture in American history, the fiscal vital signs of this country are beginning to flat line; a Romney/Ryan ticket couldn’t possibly any worse than what we have now.

Are you drawing a pension from the USAF? If so, then you are part of the entitlement problem. Are you willing to give it up for the good of the country?

but as you can see, he won't answer the question. Are you sponging off the government yourself? I see you are very close to being able to sign up for medicare, as a fiscal conservative are you willing to forego medicare and pay your own medical?

He has not had time to say anything. Do you think everyone just lives on SH and has time to reply to what you say within seconds of you saying it.

I fo one pay all my own medical bills I have never taken any form of government help to pay them.

I'm getting Social Security now that I paid into for 46 years. Soon I will be getting Medicare that I paid into for 45 years. Is that sponging off the government? If I was financially independent, I would gladly forgo medicare. But that is not the point. The point is that there is a difference between people getting money from something they paid into and people getting money from something they paid nothing into.

As far as military pensions, you should be aware that this is part of what they earn while on active duty. You should also be aware that military pay is pretty damn skimpy as is the retirement pay. Military pension is not a free handout. It is earned and sometimes it is earned at the cost of a limb or two. So don't go around asking stupid questions that a liberal dumbass would ask......unless of course you consider yourself to be a liberal dumbass.
