$17 Trillion (more than the current National debt) has been flushed down the toilet on the war on poverty since Johnson installed his welfare programs in the 60's, called the Great Society.
His model cities like Detroit are in shambles, the poverty rate is at the same or worse levels and we are back at square ONE. 50 years of increased blunders, it's time to turn the page and find effective solutions.

You're saying that a third of your country has claimed a welfare benefit of some kind and that seems a bit steep!
I think people need to know how that figure was arrived at and exactly what benefits are being claimed before they can make an informed decision.

Good news, the "Top 2% Club" will be larger and have all of the wealth, so given the premise of "Reaganomics" that this provides jobs, there will be so many jobs that all who want to work can have even more than the two or three that now are required to pay the bills each month. Yes, you can have another job if you vote for R & R and their programs to deflate the economy.
