When obtaining insights on role models & success, we also took the opportunity to learn which milestones our respondents have already attained and what they hope to achieve in the coming year.

In defining their biggest milestone already completed, those under 35 foremost gave a shout out to their current job title. On the other hand, those aged 35 and above were most proud to have become parents.

The next milestone they hope to reach in 2020? Let’s just say it might involve reconsidering the temptation to order dinner seven nights a week.

Since many milestones are once-in-a-lifetime events, the importance of small-scale achievements shouldn’t be overlooked either. The two most common feats for our respondents in 2019 worth applauding were catching up with an old friend they don’t get to see often and/or getting a raise.
